The Naše Mesto means !Our City! in english, the event is the largest volunteering activity that was carried out every year since 2007 it connects companies, local governments and the non-governmental sector in order to clean, beautify and visibly improve our cities. Every year, thousands of volunteers from companies all over Slovakia wear the same T-shirts and during two June days they take part in a number of volunteer activities by donating their time and work.
Pontis Foundation
The Pontis Foundation is one of the largest grant foundations in Slovakia, which has been bringing positive changes and strong connections for 20 years. It supports corporate philanthropy, develops employee volunteering and pro bono services for non-governmental organizations, and promotes responsible business. It focuses strategically on improving education and increasing employability, eliminating corruption and non-transparency, overcoming poverty and critical social problems, but also on creating a more friendly environment for people with disabilities.
