To clean the Chloé perfume metal cap apply some toothpaste allow it to sit for 3 to 4 minutes and wipe off with dry cloth and it will sparkle like new.

Nirvana Bourbon is amazing! I also grew up with Mary-Kate and Ashley! Commodity Fragrances are also a favorite brand of mine. I think their scents Gold or Mimosa would be right up your alley.

My Chloe has tarnished as well! Oh man I wanted to love Jo Malone Nectarine and Honey. It came off sour / almost bug spray like on me. I do like Peony and Suede but that comes off strong so I'd only wear it on occasion, I really want to smell the English Pear and Freesia I think it would be right up my alley.

Wouah i think that we should like the same kind of perfumes as there is a lot of perfumes in this list that I had, have, tried or want to buy :)
But for me some are missing ! I prefer Terracotta de Guerlain to Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, I also prefer l'Eau n°5 de Chanel to Coco mademoiselle, and I love Hermès perfumes. Jour d'Hermès was the first I bought and now I have quite a few ^^ I think you should try Un jardin sur le toit and Un jardin sur le Nil.
I also looove Jo Malone perfumes !!! Nectarine blossom and Wood sage and sea salt are definitely my favorite ones !

I don’t mind longer videos. I like in depth review! I typically go through one perfume bottle before buying another. Right now I wear the COCO Mademoiselle eau de parfum. I got it as a graduation gift from my mom a couple years ago. I use it almost every day and I’m barely 3/4 done with it. For me, this scent is comforting and feels like me. Since I’m almost done with it I’m kind of lost as to what I’m going to replace it with. I don’t like too warm fragrances. I prefer fresh. There’s this newer perfume brand at Sephora called The Seven Virtues and I adored most of the scents I tried in store. I think you might like them since they’re light and fresh. They’re perfect for everyday so I bought one. It was the orange blossom one and I loved it since it immediately reminded me of a citrus tree I love in my backyard. It was a comforting scent. However, for some reason it didn’t last more than 10-30min on me and the citrus scent was making me sneeze so I returned it and I’m back to square one. Right now upon your recommendation, I’m curious to try the first Guerlain perfume you mentioned and the Jo Malone roses one as I’m quite fond of the scent of fresh roses. It’s tricky with the Jo Malone scents since they’re not stocked in a Sephora near me so I have to buy blindly. I purchased the English Pear and Freesia one some time ago, again to see if it can replace my COCO Mademoiselle, but I returned it after all since it didn’t last more than about 2hrs (putting on a lot) and my initial reaction to the scent was that it smelled like beer.

We have some similar tastes although I have a much smaller perfume collection. Five from Jo Malone, Gucci guilty, Vera Wang, and Coco mademoiselle. My next purchase will be Gabrielle from Chanel (pretty sure it’s a new fragrance) I am currently using a sample and absolutely love it!

We literally almost have the same taste in perfumes. I love fresh scents. I love Jo Malone , Im surprised you don't have Wood Sage and Sea salt , I can't live without it. Also , another good one you might like is M.A.C Turquatic, and it won't hurt your pocketbook.

Santal blush has a firm but powdery sandalwood note, you should try white suede too or the best of bestest!! Vanille fatale!!

Where could you find jour gardenia???!!!!! Its absolutely discontinued!!! All the jours d'hermes are insanely good but gardenia screams niche to me!! Grrrr

Hi just wanted to share that the Chloe top is sterling silver that why it tarnished you can use a jewelry cleaning cloth to bring it back to life. I know because I too have that fragrance it’s one of my favorites!!! Great collection

This is such a helpful video! I also love fruity and spicy scents so now I have some great ideas, thank you 😊 I really want to build a nice perfume collection. When I was little my dad had this tall long two tier glass table in his room covered in colognes, that's always been a goal to have something similar.
Btw coco chanel is my favorite!!! I'm gonna have to pick up the lighter one now I've been curious about it 😍
Oh and you should try YSL mon Paris couture! It's one of my faves but I think it's a Nordstrom exclusive, I like it more than the original since it has more fruity notes.

Jena Froese you’re welcome. I do have to warn you though, it’s a very sweet scent (which is my jam)! One of the notes is marshmallow!! Which I think is amazing, but I know some people don’t like sweet scents.

I’ve had two Chloe and they are both tarnished. I kept the first In my bathroom and I thought at first the humidity from the shower caused the tarnish but that was not the case.do you know if perfumes go bad?
Hmm I have no idea! That’s an interesting question! Another comment came in wondering if the lid is real silver. That could make a lot of sense about why it would tarnish!
Hello, sorry to butt in. But yes, perfume does go bad, specially if you store it in warm, damp conditions or where they get directly hit by light, much like they would in a bathroom. The Chloe ones in the square bottles get tarnished because of the presence of sterling silver in the composition of the top. I hope this helped!

My signature fragrance is Versace “Yellow Diamond”. Without a doubt, I will get a compliment EVERY time I wear it. I’m on my third bottle getting ready to purchase a fourth. The one perfume I bought for it’s packaging is the Viva La Juicy Sucre from Juicy Couture. I’ve used up the perfume and have ti bottle on my desk because it so pretty! I like the perfume but I bought the bottle 😁

Chloe has silver in the metal. You can use silver polish, or I’ve also head lemon, to polish up silver. Imagine the olden day’s when people had to polish all their silverware.

@@JenaFroese my bottle came with a little note that says that it is supposed to tarnish because it's made of silver. I read somewhere that if you scrub it with toothpaste it'll come back to the way it was, haven't tried it because mine still hasn't tarnished
