What do you suggest after I graduate college/dental school and start applying for orthodontist positions? Did they accept you without experience? I want to be an orthodontist but I really don’t want to waste any time. 🦷 Thank you.

@@iara7596that’s normal. You have to get all your prerequisites done in undergrad before applying to dental school and majoring in biology is probably the easiest way.
@@zsalt2018is that how it works in america ? In italy we just have to pass the national test sure it’s hard because ur competing with a lot of people but not impossible in fact i worked hard and i’m now at my 3rd year of dentistry university and compared to america i “just” pay 4K euros a year
@@theteamxxx3142 yeah in the USA, most dental schools require that you get a bachelor’s degree before applying. It doesn’t matter what you major in as long as you take classes like biology, chemistry, physics, etc. Aside from having to shadow dentists to gain hours, volunteering, clubs, and maybe research, you gotta take the DAT (dental admission test). My mom is Romanian and she told me how in Europe you can go straight to professional school after high school. I think interesting how our education pathways differ.
