@@ImWorth6Million she is not a bad character - fighting style, design wise, she is just a bit broken, but what usually happens with these so called S tier broken characters is that people use the as mains because they are simply the best to use at the time, but once patch happens and they get nerfed people jump ship to other best character at the time. I would imagine that some Azucena players will abandon her as she is not going to be as strong as she is now.

Azucena is actually Ogre. This is why she is so strong. Hear me out: She lives in an aztec temple in Peru, in a stage where UFO's are flying around in the background. As we know, Ogre is an alien, and the leading theory is that he is currently disguising himself as this weird ass coffee lady who can only talk about this one topic because she is a pale imitation of a human, almost like an AI that is glitching out.
In the new story DLC it will be revealed that she is the secret mastermind behind it all. She is siding with Kazuya in the conflict to get to Jun, her hated enemy.

The way I see her stance is kinda like all-guard in for honor on steroids, so I feel like it should parry high, mids or lows but you need it to flow from something reactable, and that the stance should last a very short period of time and if it were to miss youre wide open for a punish. Also remove being able to dodge and make it a super committed move so it has its strengths but has its drawbacks to match or try to at least

Just got to Garyu with Kazuya yesterday. I'm beating Azucenas at this level now. The Yoshi's and Lars's still get me most of the time though. Still working on those match ups. Can deal with Hwaowrang too
I got to Shinryu with Kaz and afterwards everyone knew every single move I did. I started using Jin and Lars and got further to Tenryu. For now I parked here just gaming with friends. Ranked is stressful

6:17 to be fair, I caught azucena armor high attacks with ducking and punishing with WS moves. But that was because I did 1,2 or 1,1 and it's react-able after getting armor then duck and boop, a punish.
Azucena is objectively overtuned, but honestly I'd rather fight an Azu instead of every Bryan I face. That guy is just my kryptonite and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

@@Walamonga1313 that's right. I kinda know (Bryan main) all the routes and the required optimisations in order to take you to the wall from anywhere on the map lol. But that aside you gotta play turtle against him and choose your turn wisely. If you think you can press after my df11 on block think again....a scuffed f3 or Jet upper may await you. Block the hatchets,don't go in his space randomly and most importantly press LESS

This is the 1st game I ever cried because I only fight against this 7 characters... Azucena, Feng, Dragunov, King, Jun, Victor, and Xiaoyu. Though Xiaoyu gives me an epileptic seizure...

I never abuse her as in this video and I'm trying to play her using all her tools, so yeah, still gonna main her because the nerfs don't touch my playstyle that much.
I think people ruin their own time with the character when they just abuse the op parts. Like I rarely use wr 3,2 because people expect it so it ends up being more of a surprise tool.
@@echo7project904 for me she's a character when you constantly need to switch, from kicks , to grab, from lows, to highs etc, switch between stance and enjoy how much you can do with her, i see Azu more like a surprise char that can confuse enemy rather than DF 1,4 WR 3,2 XD

I tried playing a bit of azucena recently and decided I wanted to see how far I could get with only knowing 1 combo and just spamming while running 3,2. I got almost to my mains rank with a 88% win rate 😂

Rank is so bad right now. its all power crush or heat into heat smash and 70% of health gone. Then the round starts over and its the same shit next round, i can't get a good tekken match in ranked. hopefull the may patch fixes some the issues

I don't understand that you can create such cool characters as Reina or Lidia in terms of character, and give something like Azucena. Such a character takes away my desire to play this title. Why can't they give more seriousness to these characters, but just make them annoying characters?
Does this annoy you guys too? Or maybe it's me who doesn't understand the title and the way these characters are portrayed. I am able to understand giving the characters some funny qualities, but it should be subtle so as not to spoil their perception. Just as Lidia encourages me to play Tekken, other characters take it away from me.
I understand that for some the most important thing is balance in terms of combat, but for me the story and character traits are equally important. And that's because it affects whether I'll want to play a given character.
