I have Mcgaughys kit on 22 2500hd , love the kit hate the piggy back shocks, went through a set in a year , one completely blew a seal in the rear, one up front had now rebound . Riding fox now ! With no issues and better ride quality. So I wouldn’t have replaced almost 2k shock for a $300 shock .
So the owner should have just got a fully loaded SLT and save 10k. That a dope AF truck though… my Mcgaughys 7/9 is in the mail as we speak… I went ahead and did the billet accents all around and traction bars. Hopefully with in a month I’ll have my 24 SLT flying high as well. GTB!!!!
I don’t think he new what he was getting originally but thankfully we have found a way to make it work and he trusted us to do it for him!! Bread has been gotten 😂🍞🍞🍞🔥🔥

That's basically what the guy who ordered my truck that I bout it off of did. He bought every possible upgrade on my 17 as an SLT except for the badges saying Denali lmao. Saved like $12k doing so tho, so props to him haha

As much as I hate to admit it, a strut spacer would ride better keeping the factory multimatic suspension. McGaughys struts are “okay”. They’re not kings or fox’s by any means.
Ready Lift makes a 7” for this truck that keeps the factory strut with a spacer so yes it is definitely doable that way 🔥

Looks great but that’s a waste of an AT4. Should have just done a base model and added all the fancy bits. Would have saved a bunch.
Didn’t want the base model and the at4 n at4x was a 3k difference in price used :)
