Rex, Kate and Shrinking Rae got demolished and really took a heavy L this episode, like damn that fact that Shrinking Rae got crushed inside Komodo Dragons body must be one of the most terrifying ways to go out. The moment they gave Rex a sentimental moment with Eve and make him more of a likeable character and then he just like that he gets his team killed and list his hand. I dont get why the other heroes thought the Lizard League were a joke, they absolutely brutalised Rex and the others.
Another thing I like about this episode was the moments with Andressa who was such a humble and understanding character that really makes me wish humanity could be just as optimistic and productive as the Thraxans

Nice to see Invincible back 💯 I think it was the first series I watched from the channel. My favourite part might be when Rex had his chat with Eve. His character development in this ep has been really nice to watch 😁

It’s hilarious that the guardians just kinda bum rushed the Martian ship. 80% of the team would’ve died right there if it weren’t for AtomEve. Rex would’ve been a better part of the team up there too, his ability to crowd control would’ve made quick work of the sequids. ANYBODY on the away team would’ve been able to deal with the lizard league

Hey Meesh and Dee "Happy Wednesday. I hope you two day is going well. This was a great episode. Rex speech Sam was the highlight of the episode to me because we see Rex as this a**hole prick but this moment of him helping Sam to keep moving forward. And to not give up because she made some mistakes. Reminding her that no one perfect. Even heroes who has superpowers.
I feel bad for Deborah in this season. To accept that her husband is a monster who killed lots of people to find out he had a baby with someone else and now she's taking care of the baby. Like damn she can't catch a break. As well for Mark who as well. I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing

Honestly, while I don't trust Cecil, the whole thing about Mark's brother? Mark isn't listening, isn't paying attention to his mother. If you notice, Debbie brought up the idea of Cecil caring for the brother. Mark isn't really thinking it through, and isn't really paying attention to his mother's feelings.
He could have tried to find a compromise with Cecil, tried to find a solution that works for everyone, but he IS like his dad. All absolute.
I mean, I can understand, and given all the shit that's gone down, very understandable, but Cecil isn't the capering villain in this scenario.
On the flip side, Cecil could have found a way to ease Donald into the truth. But like a lot of shows, nobody believes in therapy. :)
Honestly Ambers entire personality did a completely 180 from season 1, hell she was going to cheat on him even before he was forced to do missions like this, can't say I like the fact that they're completely ignoring it this season.
It'd be fine, if she were forced to go through some character growth because of this, but the fact they kept things as is like nothing happened is just weird.
It feels unresolved and a weirdly awkward change from her stance on him beforehand.
With her knowing his superhero identity and still being mad at him, for apparently not telling her himself.
The brother is half viltrumite and half Thraxan. But I get why you think he’s human since viltrumite look like humans. And technically viltrumite dna is so pure that it overrides the other half so mark and his brother are basically full viltrumite

People gave Amber's character a lot of shit in season 1. And yes, the writers definitely shifted the character between seasons, but I think it makes sense narratively on the key point of honesty.
Why is Amber acting so differently in season 2 than in season 1?
Because in season 1 Mark was constantly lying to her and keeping things from her.
It's not hard to imagine someone who is infinitely patient and willing to understand... so long as a partner is honest.

If you are aware that your other half is risking their life to save other's lives, gaslight them about it rather than confront them that you know the truth. You're not better, perhaps even worse.
Also, no one is at liberty to share certain aspects of their life for a relationship that hasn't lasted less than a year.

Let me be clear: I'm not saying Amber is _right_. Or that Mark did anything wrong by lying.
My point is that it's not hard to imagine someone having huge triggers about a partner being deceptive with them, regardless of justification. And it's not hard to imagine that same person acting very differently when the partner is being honest about really difficult stuff.
I'm talking more about a plausibly consistent character.
Cecil is getting harder and harder to like.
He stone cold …
He's doing the jobs nobody wants to. He's realistic. The Donald thing he is 100% right for because the minute he find out and started stressing over it homie was having panic attacks. Donald being upset makes no sense. Cecil literally saved his life and not only that but instead of putting him in something cheap he spent alot of money to make sure he was stronger then before for worst case scenario.
Him spying is also justified. If i hear the name of the man who quite literally kills earths defenders agter lying for 20 years im gonna ovbiously wanna listen in. Mark consistently makes it hard for Cecil to trust him. Dissappearing suddenly is quite literally what Nolan did so him being skeptical of him not reporting in is incredibly suspicious. I find him simply doing the hard jobs and eating the blame simply so nobody else has to. Cause if hes willing to throw himself at Omniman before the actual superheroes he gets alot of trust.
Another small thing. When he jumpscares Rex and Rex tells him to just call. He actually does which is kinda overlooked
I mean..I get him.. he put it on his shoulders to take all the hard decisions that need to be made.
He seems to take responsibility when they blow up on his face though. So, I guess he isn't ALL bad.
