Sometimes you just gotta. I was renovating a random Sims 3 house and thought "Hey let's add a second floor on this side of the house! Imagine all the possibilities!" and then left it empty because it was already a 4br, 4ba house with 3 living areas and a skill building room.

Build idea: Inside out house challenge basically the rooms can only be in the middle of the house and the hallways are on the sides

that sounds like my sister's father-in-law's house in Japan.
it was an old japanese house, with the hallway going around the house and all the rooms are in the middle. (but since the hallway on the ground floor can be opened up , it's still pretty bright inside in the noon)
but the 2nd floor are the opposite, there's a T hallway in the middle with rooms around it.

The Delgatos! I appreciate that that translates to "Of cats" but ohmigosh. When I first got Cats and Dogs, I opened a vet clinic and hired Supriya and she kept yelling at all of the animals she was treating. She yelled at MY animals when she'd come over. I actually logged into her family at 3am game time for reasons I can't remember - possibly to check her traits and figure out why she kept yelling at animals - and found that her toddler, Evie, was AT THE DOCKS STARVING AND CRYING. Both her animals were sick. Her dog was swimming in the pool, freezing. I know it's just the sims being the sims, but
I've hated that household ever since.
I still can’t understand why they haven’t hired like junior architects to design The buildings like that would just make sense
omg wait it would actually be a really good opportunity if they hired people training to be architects as paid interns to help them make future worlds! :)

Kayla if your excited about Coral Island you should see “Witch-brook” it’s HEAVILY inspired by games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. It’s like if Harry Potter meets Stardew Valley. It’s still in early development.

brindleton bay is hands down one of the BEST worlds in the Sims 4
The top 3 worlds imo are Brindleton Bay, Windenburg and Sulani (though Sulani is great for making rental lots)
The DelGato's family home really just... Needed that. And man I love Hound's Head but it desperately needs a makeover. You should attempt that one next.

My sim stole their cat because my game listed him as a stray
Im pretty sure that's all Sims. for some reason, they aren't programmed to care for their pets if you visit them as another family.
@@glaciemdraco which is so weird, because any time my sims have a pet, they will drop whatever they're doing and do something for the pet. Eating? Stop and pet the dog! I need to fill the pet bowl? Bring the book with me! It drives me nuts.
@@skullfullofbooks7398 Yeah, it's just ... confusing, to say the least. If you play as them? The pet gets all the attention in the world? If you visit them? The pet is generally always sick or something along those lines. I for one would like a golden middle XD
It's why I dont even visit families with pets anymore, tbh.

The infamous “fields family farm” lot. That build is my favorite thing in the world I’ve updated and renovated it 1000 times and the outside is so beautiful and classic that it stays the same. This build somewhat reminds me of it:)
I remember when I bought this expansion s few months ago, spending like two hours scrolling through Kayla's videos trying to find her renovation of this build before giving up. So glad to see this video now!

I truly hate this house (wtf were they thinking, it's just so large), and although it took you 6 hours to renovate I know you did your very best!

I have such a ridiculous attachment to the original house. I played my favorite save file ever in it of a baker, a fisherman, their kids, and their sheepdog, Max. It makes me so nostalgic to see it again and I like the renovation!

As someone who is not rich I do indeed only have cats and dogs, seasons, and I had city living in a previous origin account. These were all bought 50% off and over a significant period of time because I am 𝑝𝑜𝑜𝑟
that big third floor could be made into a creepy attic, i'd make one of the sims become a vampire, then have them live up there for generations hahaha

I always watch the Twitch playbacks while doing the dishes or playing a game and just have you playing in the background. Chateau Frise is my favorite house! I turn the attic into a big bedroom/playroom for the kids, I add a small bathroom in the weird little corner space in the attic. On the second floor I turn what is originally a playroom into a bathroom, I also make 2 more bathrooms on the second floor and 2 bedrooms (I had a mod where I could change my allowable sim count up to 25 I had 15 😂). I convert the toddler room into a nursery since infants came out and the first floor aside from a few minor changes I pretty much leave the same. I recently started from scratch because when infants came out the mod I use broke my game 😂
Now all that being said I am going to save this video and take inspiration from some of your ideas.

Ahaha Cats & Dogs is one of the few I don’t have yet, I’m waiting for the next sale! My first was actually Island Living, then City Living, then realized how much Seasons and Get Together added to the game. Cats & Dogs will definitely be next! Great remodeling build :)
