The fact that Ewan Mitchell said he couldn't afford acting school and so had to learn everything on his own makes me want to root for him even more. He's a wonderful actor who works hard and deserves everything good that's coming his way ❤
Foreign actors put more work in the art, whether it’s school or learning on their own, even writing.
American actors (besides the older generation), aren’t as good anymore. It’s more about who you know and whether you look like a model, more than anything else.

I like that he's getting more and more confident. He still does come off as pretty shy, but when he's joking around with Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon) he shows a funnier side. I'd love those two to star in a comedy role sometime, they just have great comedic chemistry 😂

First, I love how Ewan Mitchell always looks at this audience and takes it all in, this actor is going to be seen for decades in his career, he literally owns Aemond to the core.

He is as considered and purposeful IRL as he is as Aemond Targaryen. There is so much to that character that can be lost under his shield of frost. More wisdom and intellect than nearly any other character. You hate him and love him all at once which makes him primary to the story.
Fabien is such a good story teller. Kinda feel for him here. He said in a recent interview he's unlikely to ever watch episode 4 because he's nervous he'll hate his performance. You can see the displeasure on his face with how he's shaking his head after they played the clip. Poor guy lol. Definitely want to see more of him and Ewan together!

If you've seen Saltburn, then you understand how versatile Ewan is as an actor. He was the geeky autistic friend in the begining.
And in The Last Kingdom as Baby Monk he's literally the polar opposite and so great. Such a versatile actor, so glad he's getting huge opportunities.

Ewan is such a talented actor. I hate and love his character at the same time. He plays Aemond so well. I wouldn’t want to be left in a room with Aemond. He’s scary. But he’s also magnetic. The sinister charisma is so compelling. What an amazing actor! 🙌🏼👏🏼
It's the long hair and the eyepatch that makes him look scary. Once those come off Ewan looks way younger and more adorable underneath xD
they both are so sweet and humble. Ewan always looks at the audience and I can feel he appreciates this so much maybe because this is one of his opportunities to finally be recognized, Fabien as well. you can see that Fabien was about to cry seeing his work that he put a lot of effort into it and it made him more known.

Both Ewan and Fabian are so talented. I was watching Fabian's dad in the nineties(his pop portrayed Ventrue vampire Julian in the show Kindred The Embraced).
