I broke their hopes at a very early stage of preparation and told them that I'll prepare at my own limits but will give it my 100%. Throughout that whole year, my failures were my own, and my parents never bothered about my preparation. But in my mind, I always knew that if I failed, it would be 100% my responsibility. Fast forward to JEE ADV, although the exam went decent, I still told them that I messed up because I wasn't sure whether I would still be able to clear it or not. I informed them beforehand that I was considering lower-ranked colleges. And then the results came out, and I'm in IIT-DELHI now.

As a jee 2025 aspirant i am now more motivated, when I saw my brother in 11th ha e a lot of parental pressure, so even I was very good in studies I didn't write much in exams did no sample paper didn't even memorised the maths formula and nothing I just read ncert once and went for exam and still got 84 percent cause I attend classes attentively. Now in 11th we all know what happens allen online coaching , i am getting 90+ percentile, but I told my parent I only know the marks which are pretty low for them , now they don't know I am a good student and he have no hopes for me , I have already completed the 11th syllabus and 1 unit from cengage and I might get selected. But even if I don't my parents don't have any hope , they just waiting for my brother's exams , he got 29th Jan shift . And I still believe he have a lot of pressure but he could only talk to me about it 😢
