Thanks! I was very dedicated to shave off my beard for the epic mustache and side burns. Those are actually real vintage 1972 Adidas Jet Track Spikes. But they are in my size, and I DON'T run in them. The shorts actually hurt more than the shoes, lol. My wife was freaked out by the hair most of all.

I'll start working on next year's submission right away! Seeing as how I'm not on the BAA watch list, I'll be able to do some epic stuff without them being aware.

Remember serious runners, the only advice to offer a newb doing a 5k is that “…any average [insert applicable age] year old should be able to break 15:30 with moderate running (10-15 mpw) after 4 months…”
Exactly! You can't just wear the same brand and model, it has to be the same SIZE as well to get the magical benefits... and wear their number bib, too.
As a serious runner, I own multiple high tech gps watches, but I will use my phone gps if there is any shot of trees or buildings slowing down my mile pace. Can't be having my 14 followers on strava think that I ran at 7:32 pace instead of 7:19 pace
