    how accurate is it in mA?

    The only problem I had is that the incel transmitter is $100+
    This seems like a good method to test cranking current, especially for cars with hard to get to cylinders. also fuel pump turn over.
    this device + multimeter with a graph display + fuse probes would run about $300+.
    Is there a more affordable method to test a vechile's current or engine compression besides a mechanical compression tester?
    Thanks.

    Will this work and be accurate with a fluke meter?

    I thought this probe was supposed to do the conversions for you, oh well works great with my Verus Edge scanner

    • @AESwave
      @AESwave  Před 5 lety +2

      You Snap On Verus will have probe calibrations that match the outputs of these amp clamps in either the 20amp or 60 amp setting. The conversions are always done by the scope or meter, not by the clamp itself.

    If u buy the AES master kit in the picture u will not be able to do this test because the low amp probe in the kit cannot plug into the meter,the entire kit is exclusively for the u-scope.great scope but i cannot use it on my big scope,it will not plug in.wanna buy a u-scope?

      This low current clamp is available with a BNC connection. We also have adapters to go from BNC to Banana plug.

    500 milli amps = .5 amp? Does this read 58.6 milliamps or .05 of an amp

    • @sollykhan2385
      @sollykhan2385 Před 2 lety +1

      i think it amounts to just over 1/2 Amp = 586 Milli Amp, 1,000 Milli Amps = 1 Amp 🤔🙂
