I am very confident of the budget, they will be nothing for middle class for sure. This fm is one of the worst India has ever had. Tax more than 80% of people still use old regime which has slabs dating back to more than 5-8 years!! What has she done ? At least adjust to inflation!! Minimum everything in the super market is 2x to 4x compared to 10 years ago, but same old tax slabs!??? Really?? And we all wonder why rich or high salaried people are leaving the country!!

@@vinayc BJP taken us for granted modi is turning out to be weakest PM now. We are struggling in bangalore with skyrocketing prices of land or flat but tax terrorism continues. If FM do not given any respite it's better not to vote going forward for any party.

The FM is a mere executor. The top brass does care about middle class at all. If Modi decides he can make middle class life better but that will buy him 2 cr votes max. He does not have any incentive to do this. The middle also cannot come to Street and agitate as like farmers. The government in knows this and hence will not do anything until any form of agitation happens. The host is bot talking about double taxation on dividends too apart from buyback. Frustrated
If there are no changes in tax slabs, BJP will be grounded in next elections and interim elections. One of main reason BJP didn't get clean majority is taxes both direct and indirect taxes. There should be major reform in tax slabs and max tax should be 25%, just like how corporate taxes.
His mass voter who are in Bpl doesn't care about tax!

Personal TDS tax and Capital Gain Tax should be differentiated for Individual Tax consideration. Should not clubbed together to inflate the Income slab of an Individual. Also , all legitimate loss claims on Capital gains should be accepted by the IT with genuine proof of evidences rather than legal conflicts. With the present Gapitl gain Tax calculation principles, I am going to loose around 85 lakhs good for nothing , that is my purchasing power for rest of my life.
We shouldn't expect much from this budget. In fact, the government is likely to find more ways to collect taxes from us. This is why so many high-net-worth individuals and company employees are looking for ways to relocate outside India. The high taxes we pay offer no benefits, so it's just wishful thinking.
How about making GST a single bracket?
That would be the ultimate symbol of Tax-Simplification.
More than Income Tax, I want GST to be simplified.
Being a IT employee in the day, and Small-Business owner in the weekends is sucking my focus during Monthly and yearly filings.

Just Fooling the Public in the name of Tax relief. First fix an Income to individuals with his Revenue minus Expenses. If Salary is his Revenue ...then allow deduction his Family Expenses. Don't combine Incomes other than TDS income and defferentiate such incomes in order to attract the inflated slab system.
