What’s your favorite version of the advanced suit? Mine personally is either the teaser trailer or the latest one I like both and think both look good only thing is I do wish there was some red on the legs. Also 15k in under 24 hours??? Thank you!!
I think Insomniac has PERFECTED the latest advanced suit design. It looks like a sleek and modern iteration of the character that really stands out. I LOVE IT ❤
I disagree slightly. I'm not a big fan of the flush white outlines and the lack of red on the lower part. Makes it look like he's wearing overalls as opposed to the 2018 and 2021 version. It's not a big issue tho, it's still nice overall

I think there is too much white in the white outline. Black adds more contrast. Also white doesn’t look that good in bright lit scenes, whereas black looks good regardless.
@@DJ_Alex01 bro it doesn't matter. It's a staple of this version of peter parker/ spider-mans' suit and always will be. And they're not going to change it so what's the point of complaining about it.

I think my favorite version of the advanced suit has to be the 2.0 white outline version. I agree 100% that the new white outline really makes the suit stand out and look clean.
Same. I never really cared for the advanced suit in the first game but seeing this new version i think thats the only one im going to be using in my first playthrough besides the symbiote suit.
@@browneye010 Personally, I've always loved the advanced suit (playing the armored version right now), but I did eventually see the issues that people had whether it was the colors, the entire design, or just the white spider.

My favorite thing about The Advanced Suit 2.0 is the color change. I wasn’t a fan of the Orange-ish Red color and the dull washed out Grey/Blue. The more vibrant color choices are WAY more appealing imo.

About the new 2.0 advanced suit Even though the show itself Probably took inspiration from TASM 1 the belt from the new 2017 Spider-Man show looks like the one from the game

I prefer the white outline, especially with the white on the forearms and the belt. The white outline just blends in perfectly with those parts as opposed to the black that kind of looked like it just came to a stop once it reached that area, another great vid!
the 2015 advanced suit still somewhat exists in the game files. There is a model of a posed spidey using the old 2015 model, but it is not rigged. The torso textures for the 2015 suit also exist in the game files
I barely see anyone mention the 2016 teaser trailer. It's still my favorite version of the advanced suit.
The advanced suit became one of my favorite Spider-Man suits due to the white, it was a unique feature but I can see where the fans are coming from when they say the first advanced suit was a bit Orange. Although I was a little skeptical about the second advanced since I didn’t know how I felt about the shades of red and blue and I usually prefer a bright red and a navy blue in a Spider-Man suit but as time on I’m glad insomniac made the suit a little bit red and it looked really good in the trailers.
5:29 According to the developers, this was actually a glitch, though I wish the black used was shinier, so the outlines could appear whitish under certain conditions.
1:08 I wouldn't mind seeing a mod or a color in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 based on this suit.
1:45 I like the design for this one being based on athletic gear, similar to The Amazing Spider-Man movie suit, I also thought it was neat they had the colors represent different grades of armor blue being the lightest armor or grade 1 for movement, which explains the segments of blue around his shoulders, the ~~orange~~ red being a grade 2 and the white being grade 3 and it being on his knuckles, feet and ankles and his symbol. I do like the little triangles of padding on his thigh too, so his thighs aren't left fully bare to hits.

The colors definitely look more vibrant and pop out more compared to the semi muted colors the original advanced suit had.
I didn't realize how dark the blue the original advanced suit had, not thay ot looked bad but interesting change.
Maybe its just me, but it kinda looks like the lenses have little wrinkles in the inner part, kinda like actual eyes, which look interesting.
I think separating the 'belt' bit does give it a TASM look which is nice since that suit is a nice design.
I do miss the little triangles on his thighs but it could be a show of Peter getting better material for his suits and no longer needing the extra padding there.
Since we know that you can have different colors for the suits, the black lines might be a color alt, but I dont mind it either way.

The only thing that's a lil turn off on the new 2.0 suit is that in some scenes it looks flat like it's part of the stitching rather than looking like an extra plate on top in the first game which gave a tiny bit of depth. Also this could entirely be the lighting but in some scenes it looks almost grey which doesn't help it not look flat imo
I think we should really talk about what the suit looked like in early builds of the first game. Different web patterns, slightly different emblems, and also much larger eyes! It’s a shame this really isn’t talked about, as there were some really cool ideas they had there.

From what I remember the white parts of the suit are like armor like kevlar or something that's why his knuckles are white and stuff ofc it doesn't add anything to the gameplay not like there is armor bar or anything but neat detail

I still want to properly see the Advanced Suit 2.0 in action in a trailer. I think it's unlikely though because the gameplay demo was where I thought I'd be most likely to see it properly, but that showcased the symbiote suit which is what it was meant for because the whole point of that demo was to show us new stuff (in combat they stuck to symbiote abilities/Miles new blue Venom) and they showed us a new type of chase that will likely become a crime we can do which will be so fun. The only other trailer we're likely to get before launch is the pre order suits trailer to see them in detail, so we won't see Peter's normal suit since they'll be showcasing his pre order suits. There's a good shot of it when that bear enemy approaches Peter in that building, and we've pretty much seen the front and back of it but I want to see it in action with the arms, web swinging, all that
I'm not gonna lie the advance suit in the first revel trailer for marvel Spiderman 2 was perfect with the black lineing but now some say the changed it to white which I don't like but hands down the advance suit 2.0 with black lining from the first revel trailer for marvel Spiderman 2

I don’t think the white outline is a mistake or update. The concept art they showed few weeks ago has black outline w/ Miles and Venom. So I’d bet the black is left there after Peter rids the symbiote, and white early in game.
thats quite interesting and might be very possible, the hot toys they put out also had black outlines and hot toys like to be as accurate as possible so if black outlines werent gonna be in the game they wouldnt have used them on the toys, also the statues in San Diego Comic Con had black outlines too which was the same day this white outline suit got revealed

Bc in alot of promotional stuff peter usually have black outline but the art cover is white outline (just kinda hard to see unless you zoom in)
And the hot toy is interesting bc everyone thought the spider legs was red instead of silver

Something you could've touched on is how the final suit changed from alpha footage thats online (completely different eyes), to the E3 2016 trailer (differently shaped logo and different textures), to the 2017 trailer (very shiney, less orange, and very light blue), to the final. However, this is a great breakdown, and as someone whos currently physically making the newest version, I enjoyed this video quite a bit

I would've liked to see some acknowledgment towards some suits like the E3 2016 advanced suit and maybe the beta gameplay build suit but overall this video is pretty good!

The added white outlines to split the blue and red now make the suit look more like the British flag and kind of hard to unsee. Now I just the Union Jack Spidey not the American Spidey.

I was a big fan of the red sections on his outer thighs in the first game.
I find it kinda sad that they're gone now. Especially with his feet looking so plain and being almost fully blue, those red webbed triangles rounded out the.. uh.. colour balance nicely? Or something idk.
Also while the red is better, I am not a fan of this new sorta light, almost turquise-ish blue. It reminds me way too much of the captain britain suit. Would have preferred it darker. But I suppose it being so bright will make for better contrast with the black suit.
Also I'm not too hot on the size of the eyes. I wish they let you customize how wide open the lenses are during gameplay. You can only do that when taking selfies in photo mode, and I wish it was an option, cuz the loading screens with his eyes wide open look SO good
who knows. maybe they will let the eyes be customizable in spider-man 2.

Hello great video!!! Tho I think the far from home is based more on the amazing fantasy one, cause of the back spider is blue and the blue parts are black instead with very minimal blue highlights, or is it because they changed the blue to white? I can’t recall, am I mistaken?

For some reason it really bothers me that they got rid of the red triangle designs on the suit's legs because now they just look super bare and the only red on the legs is in the feet.

TBH, I actually don’t really like the design of The Advanced Suit. I can respect’s people’s opinion if they like it. I just think the design is way to crowded. I actually liked like Insomniac’s version of Spider-Man’s traditional Red and Blue suit. If had to choose which version of the Advance Suit I liked was actually the Concept Art design.

If it was tweaked a little I think it looks kinda cool. Like if it had the lenses from the actual advanced suit. because I usually the colors I associate Spider-Man are red, blue, black for the main suit color They only exceptions I can tolerate a different color scheme is like the Symbiote which are black and white. The advance suit we got has too much white intricacies in it, at least for my tastes. But this is just my opinion.

Honestly (and I know this is an unpopular opinion) I vastly prefer the original design to the 2.0 design. Yes I’ll admit, I prefer the red on the new suit, but that’s pretty much the only thing I prefer. I prefer the shade of blue on the original. Specific design details on the new suit meant to make it look sleeker just make it look off to me. Like I don’t like the separated belt with the red on his torso just going all the way down. I don’t like the eyes as much either. The shape, color, and texture look off to me. The original eyes had a much more solid look to them in terms of color. I also don’t like how the web pattern is blending into the suit more. I like when if’s a much darker and stands out. Overall I just honestly prefer the original suit. Maybe since they seem to be officially labeling it as 2.0, they’ll have a 1.0 option in there too. That would be awesome.
I think both of them are good it would be cool if they included like a 2.0 v1 (with the black outlines) and the final version which has the white outlines but that’s prob unlikely

I like the design of the first advanced suit better. I think they did too much. The Red looks better on 2.0 but thats the only change I think is better. I think the light blue is ugly looks too Spider-Man UK. Always go medium to dark blue on Spider-Man suits. Baby blue is not it. The suit has too much blue on the legs. The advanced suit was already pushing it for me but at least it had the red patches on the thighs. Now there’s no red and all and once again this is where the ugly shade of blue they went with isn’t doing the suit any favors. There’s too much white bits scattered everywhere, the belt design is ugly. At least have it connected. Finally the design of the white on the knuckles and forearms doesn’t look or flow as nicely as the first one. They took one step forward is making the red better and 5 steps back everything else. My hope is 1.0 os available for use and they adjusted the red on it to make it look better because I would were that over 2.0
