One of the best mafia films ever. Denzel Washington is the only actor of this generation that can match the Pacino’s and Brando’s of the 70s. Just shows how good Denzel really is. And Russell Crowe with a fabulous supporting role.

Really a shame we never got a Denzel and Al Pacino crime thriller type of movie. Or Denzel in a Scorsese film with deniro/ DiCaprio.. would be absolutely epic. Maybe it’s an ego thing.. DiCaprio and day Lewis didn’t get along that well

@@ajordan2323 Denzel and Pacino were almost gonna do Se7en together with Denzel playing Mills and Pacino playing Somerset. But they both turned it down which sucks. I get people love Pitt and Freeman but Se7en was gonna be a masterpiece regardless so Denzel and Al would have only elevated it.
