I remember Monster Handler Matt telling me about how people would accuse Disney of ripping off My Singing Monsters with this game, not realizing both games were made by Big Blue Bubble. It was simultaneously funny because of the misconception and heartwarming that people were willing to stand up for BBB against Disney of all companies.
A LOT of people, new and old, who has played MSM, nearly has always mistaken Disney for copying MSM, when in reality, they actually did a collab with BBB to bring My Muppets Show to life, hence the similarities between how the two games worked.đ From the influence of MMS, some of these traits has passed on over to MSM, such as how Muppet Man works, itâs carried over to MSM for Wubboxâs gimmick, or a section of the chord progression in the Ship Stage is carried over for MSMDOFâs title screen music! Speaking of that, the muppets has different outfits (and idle animations) based on the different stages theyâre on, much like an Oaktapus getting a Burdâs nest on its head when it teleports to Shugabush island, or the snow surrounding Deedge melts when it teleports to said island!
Iâm so glad to see content on this again. I miss it so much. I fell off of MSM and got heavily into this. Now Iâm back into MSM because of Matt and nostalgia. My Muppets Show was the absolute best
Could we somehow actually revive this game? Itâs genuinely incredible and Iâm sad it vanished before it couldâve gone far. Muppets seem to still be relevant, so maybe one day theyâll revitalize this gem?

you need to look at more, i highly suggest looking at muppet man as he is the equivalent of wubbox in that game and there's just something creepy about him.
Could you please also check Furcorn Jelly Dreams, it was a match three game which got shut down. What really made it special was the level map. It's the islands and it has kind of mellow songs (you can also hear them as Plant,Cold and Air Reverie). You also have Jammer Splash,another match three which I also am not able to play, but is still up. From what I've seen Jammer Splash isn't that interesting though.

You should listen to the Space Island x Rooftop mashup by entbrat gaming 1813, it's one of the few My Muppets Show x MSM mashups I've found that actually sounds good and I think you'd really like it!
14:34 My only guess is that no one can't really make multiple decent songs or haven't had instrumental skills implemented into the game. Making a fanmade msm song without music skills isn't easy cause there's so many stages to put together in order to make the song work.
And to answer Matt's other question, as to why there are not many other games like MSM. First off it is barely a game, it is noise + wait simulator + drain your life savings and parents banks account for one monster (simulator). It just is not very fun, and most devs can see the writing on the wall, as in the day that some stupid kid steals their parents credit card to buy 80k gems for one stupid monster... that will be the day these devs will be sued to holy hell and back... they should have thought of this before they made such ridiculous prices possible... I mean honestly I just streamed a game today and made so much progress on my first ever try and in 6 hours... in this game you would make no progress... no one likes games where you sit and watch a timer forever... *cough* Ponos *cough*...
