Playing sample chops on a midi device is way more intuitive than trying to click them in. It takes more time to chop the samples and assign them to all the drum pads but it’s so worth it in the end

I always my octave changes by just copying the melody into another pattern and moving it up an octave(ctrl+up)

I dont remember off the top rn on where the setting is. But you can detach all windows in FL so you dont have that problem anymore

i always struggle when it's time to use fruity slicer, i just cant make a decent melody, do you have any tips for this?
My biggest grip about sampling from other kits is the fact you don't always get the scale or chord progression, but it's definitely worth it to get a catchy percussive melody
dope musicians know scales by ear!
@@ChuTheCreator That's true :) But I only say that because I'm borrowing notes from other scales for my chords as well as secondaries and leads for them spicy sounds
