It’s alway a joyful occasion when Merlin raises a long forgotten-retired engine from the dead. 👍😃
Knowledge and skills, make it look simple. Taikuu for the lesson.. 👍👍
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you Merlin and family. Good work 👍😁.
I like your handle for turning the flywheel to set the valves' smart idea. 😊😊
Travis needs to make a video of what he did to install that 12v in the square body, modifications etc.
Merlin is a hard worker and that my friends is something to talk about ,his parents named him appropriately !
Should be a good fit in the square body. Fun truck, like the way he used the original leaf spring hangers.
Didn't think I would ever see Merlin in a suit, sweet!
a tux at that
Merlin the (very, very patient) magician... Never had a doubt about you getting that Cummins going! Fantastic!!!

Merlin your a magician!! It's good to see you giving life to an engine that has been sitting. 😮
You make it look simple every time
Thank you again for a very educational vid
I must be the only person in the world who does like square bodies.
Merlins old school speedy dry is your next product assignment. 😂🎉
Thanks for filming 😁😁😁😁
Now all he needs is for diesel to be a $1.99 a gallon again.
Me too.
We all need that.
paying that for a litre in the UK.
@@graememckay9972 “make diesel £0.50 per liter again.”
Diesel is $2.20 in Australia lol
Hey Merlin,
Always cool to see an old nearly forgotten engine come to life, be it gas or diesel.
You really need to get and use a remote mic !
Every time you turn away from or step away from the camera your voice is either lost of so low it can not be heard.
I can not be the only viewer experiencing this situation !
Work Safe, Be Well
Enjoy Life
LOVE the remote control on the forklift, pure Merlin. 😃👍
Old school...
excellent start up
Merlin preforming his magic as always! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next. 😊
Gonna be a runner for sure 😎👍
That thing sounds so strong.
No way Merlin will ever get that 5.9 junkyard motor to run . . . never mind, keep doin' what you're doin'. ---
Merlin the Old School Magician Show
I've said it before, my favourite you tube channel. Well done mate.
Sounds great buddy ok watching you is enjoyable ok
An educational program first thing in the morning is wonderful... thanks once again for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Great job 😊
As always, Merlin, you are the man!! love your videos!!
In your zone, you do a fine job of illustrating the steps, to prepare, prior to turning it over. The test, checks, and proofs, that tell you, to listen and watch.
Merlin, I was the 3rd boy, at 7 yrs old when I realized that my brothers, talked big blocks, fuel A dragsters, 1/4 mile strips, and gear ratios. They never explained a thing to me , yet we had a plastic 16” high working V8- cylinder teaching model with lights, for combustion sequence.
No one ever, sat me down, with diesel, and design. Glow plugs, fuel with a flash point, under pressha, revealed, a world, and removed my attitude. Why won’t america lower, it diesel price.. commerce.🤔
Brad is a smart man.
I've got a 96 2500 that is bone stock, I use ot to travel back and forth to help out my sister out with her wreckers. Good tool hauler and I average 28 mpg. Transmission is dying though, and I don’t want to do a manual swap. I would love to see you do a Transmission video of your process to make them live a happy life behind one of the best engines ever built.
Always fun to watch Merlin!
That sucker sounded good too
I didn’t remember any of that. Can you explain it again and oh just come to Canada and show me how on mine. Lol. Your a talented man Merlin
Nice video as usual and sharing it with us as well as your knowledge is priceless.
Thanks Merlin!
That transmission center shaft has a LOT of runout!
I think that output shaft to the trans is toast.
Merlin is literally the sorcerer. If it were me trying to do that stuff, it would be like the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"
So cool how you fix any thing, and keep a smile the whole time, love it, nice job.
Alllways glad to see your video show up. Let me know if you have a use for a couple of turbos for a 3126. New old military stock
nice!
You are a mechanical genius Merlin!!
Keep us updated on that duly ❤🎉🎉
Good morning Merlin you are amazing! Love watching you in action!
Need more videos with Makay standing around doing nothing... lol
It's alive.... it's alive.... A couple fixes and that "rabbit' will be hopping.
12 Valve content is my favorite lol
Good stuff sir Merlin well done
All that leaking diesel is rust prevention LOL
Wow very impressive Frame work, PLEASE show more of the Frame work in detail. You cant but this type of hands on experience.
Merlin has the answers to life!!🤙
It's so awesome to see you bringing dead things to life Merlin keep up the good work 😉
Well you have videos BUT really you should put out (I'm showing my age) illustrated books as well to document the history you seem to oooooze. I love to watch a master of his class in action.
Something I want to see before I die is a V-12 diesel engine I'm told it's built like a Cummins but it's 192 liter displacement, each cylinder displaces 1010 cubic inches, it's a behemoth, it makes 4500 Horse Power @ 900 rpm it idles 300 rpm, it's a 4 stroke.
Great video Merlin. The sound quality needs some work though…
Amazing!
The rear end on the box chevy scares me. Should have a watts link instead of a cheap panhard walking the rear end. Should have tabs welded on the rear end, not u bolts. Most people would take the time and 4 link the rear. Yikes. But all my sh!t talking aside, the Cummins on the other hand was pretty sweet content.. thanks merlin..
Not sure if it's normal or not but the stub shaft coming out where the transmission connects was wobbling when it started up.
Looks like the rabbit farm is producing Merlin. Hey what did the yard engine Cost? I'm up here near Bend Oregon and these guys around here want 1500$ for wasted Blown up crap without pumps or other essentials. I have a 1 Ton 4x4 1979 Dodge Powerwagon factory wrecker I would like to get repowered or sell it, it is pretty nice for its age.
Very KOOL Melin
So awesome to see old engines run again
On one of your videos, you briefly showed putting a screw? in the edge of the timing cover. In stead of removing the timing cover to tab the KDP. Could you expand on that all too briefly shown subject? I enjoy all of your content.
look at that output shaft off the flywheel for the trans. looks bent when you are turning it over
Learning a lot from you and Steve Darnell on these Cummins engines, amazing how they work
