    183k miles on my A26 and zero downtime. It’s a great truck.

      What miles are you at now? Is it still a great truck? Thinking about getting one

      Leon Boy 372k on it now. Only three sensors replaced. About 3 hours each. Minor stuff. I’ve got 5 quarters in a row of IFTA 9 mpg or slightly higher. It’s been a good truck. A26 engine.

      @@Misesian86 Nice! Thanks for the info. My company is shopping new trucks for me and it’s between International LT, International RH, and Freightliner Cascadia. The Freightliner though cost a lot more and way longer lease like 6-7yrs so they’re trying to convince me to go with an international because they’re little more affordable and shorter lease term 3 to 4yrs so I’ve just been researching the three

    I drive an LT for the company I'm with. The west coast mirrors vibrate so bad that they're almost unusable, especially at night. They've already had recalls on the Eaton transmission. When I got mine with only 59k on it, (up to almost 90k now) it would only go in reverse and the shop was on the phone with Eaton for a fix. I also HATE the over speed warning. It picks up every stray signal in the area and I'm cruising the interstate at 65 and get a warning the speed limit is 25 because I'm approaching an exit ramp that's posted at 25. I hate it.

    The previous company I worked for used to lease trucks from Ryder, mostly Freightliner Cascadia's and mostly day cabs. Sometimes when my truck was in for repairs or service I would get an International LT to use. Not a bad truck but I just couldn't get comfortable in the driver seat, not enough leg room.

    My company has about 10 of the LT's. Quite a few have had warranty work done to them .

  • @Second.Nature.Lawn.Michigan

    It's going to be really hard to forget the maxxforce, 6.0 powerstroke, 6.4 powerstroke and other navistar failures. Fuel efficiency doesn't mean much when the truck won't run. Good luck..

    A true test if that truck can survive 500,000 miles with minimal down time like my 2000 FLD-120 I’ll gladly trade up

    What I find that sucks about the truck is it every time you set your parking brake your door locks pop up. What if I’m in a bad area why would I want to unlock my door just because I set my parking brakes that is totally screwed up

      MAN engines have always been excellent unless they are EGR only that is. Super quiet and smooth, economical and capable of huge mileage way more than those red boat anchors.

    • @MylanPS3
      @MylanPS3 Před 3 lety +1

      @@acd1202 The new MAN D26 engine only leads 10 % of the exhaust gases back into the engine. They call it EGR light or something like that, the other exhaust gases are treated with AdBlue in an SCR-cat ;-) MAN only produced EGR-only engines (Euro 5) until 2013 or so, at least for the European market, since then all of their engines use AdBlue and an SCR-cat afaik.
