this video is slightly dated so i just wanted to update you guys. now that first strike is nerfed we are playing nidalee with Aery, and more importantly STARTING W! quickly pounce to lane lvl 1 and place traps everywhere, then every time they step on one u get a lot of ms to auto them with and pounce to disengage or engage
Could you stack the support item faster by swapping to cougar before an auto or spear lands to get the higher proc gold similar to how grasp works on her?
I legit started winning a lot more games since I cut a lot of my pink ward buys. I used to get one every time I went base, but now I only get if we're going for an objective straight away and I try to not buy any before my first item. It's crazy how much of a difference it makes. My logic was that my teams didn't use the vision most of the time, and literally everyone has the inventory space for control wards if they really want it - and you're the one who has less gold to spare. Give it a go, it may make a difference for you too!
I have had Nidalee support + Jhin on my white board of random ideas for months… and have yet to give it a proper try.

how did you take control of the lane so that they can't hide behind minions early?
Nidalee gets movement speed from bushes so use that to harass with autos

the majority of my videos including this one are played in high elo, only the undercover ones are played below masters
