  • How do we integrate functions numerically? In this lesson, we will learn about the basic approaches to integrate functions using numerical methods. A combination of the two approaches presented leads to the derivation of the trapezoidal rule. Finally, an example is presented showing that more slices of the problem domain will lead to a more accurate approximation of the integral.
