berglund26 berglund26 when you really understand grace you don't abuse it. When you understand God's love for you, it makes it easy to live right. When you're belief is right, you love right. Does God love taya less because her hair is short? No. So why should we? If God were to love her less because of something so stupid like hair, His love would be imperfect. And it's not. Ours is but God's is not. Taya is beautiful inside and out independent of her hair length and that is abundantly clear. I've been reading the comments and guys it really saddens me how one simple thing can divide us as a church. I've been a huge fan of hillsong and how God has been using them. God used them so then I can grow as a Christian and as a musician as well. If God wouldn't have showed me Jesus and his love and how he touches hearts, I probably wouldn't be as devoted as I am today.
God uses people and bands for his glory. I use to criticize so many pastors and bands that I forgot that maybe God is using that preacher or moment to speak to one lost soul. We were all on our way to hell once but by the grace of God he rescued us from death and sin. So what does this make us? This makes us part of the same team. We are in Gods team. We are the church. We are the bride!
This should unite us even more. This should remind us that with Jesus we've got everything. If this record begins to shine above even the secular charts, then we should rejoice and be excite because more people will be able to hear about Jesus! Music is a very powerful tool and must learn to use it as a resource. We have to be willing to do what it takes to reach people. We bring down our opinions and let the Holy Spirit guide us in how to reach more people. The spirit is willing to do what it takes. The Bible even says to pray so that he could give us the creativity, or the tactic, to reach more people.
The gospel is rapidly spreading which means that Jesus is coming soon. He is so near we have no idea. This should excite us! We should celebrate and praise. There's no time for division and disagreements. Our foundations is Jesus! Our life is Jesus! Our salvation is Jesus! And our redemption is Jesus! For all of us. Let's stay focused. God is and can use all of us the way we are.

Carlos Alejandro I understand that. Many within the church disagreed with it too. I was first in line. A lot has changed though. We can't say that this is what the church continues on being because we don't know that. Most people who criticize know that. They don't even attend to even judge. Most people who make a comment say they've never been to one of their services, but yet they know "what goes on." How is that possible? Lol
My point is... if you were to attend one service, you would see how many people surrender to Jesus. Bro every time there's an alter call it's like a huge celebration. Such joy and happiness that someone had encountered Jesus. And not once is sin dismissed. You can see God's hand in the place at all times. You have to be there to believe it. My favorite part is the alter call.

Too many people (especially Christians) are stuck the wilderness and barely tap into and embrace the many wonders of life and the world, which is what Jesus would have preferred.

My daughter did the same to sell her hair to an organization which makes wigs for children with cancer. She is so involved at helping others (i.e. feeding the homeless, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity). The point is Taya may have had a very good reason for what she did.

I am so proud of all Christians everywhere. Recently we had our school talent show. I go to a public school. The group who won it was a group of grade 11 boys who sang this song beautifully. Wonder. That is what introduced me to this song.

If the older women in my family saw this video, they would have raised a number of concerns - Taya's hair - or lack of it, the way she is sitting with her legs apart, the fact that she is sitting higher than the guys, the way the guys are dressed to the extent that they even look homeless especially Joel....
But isnt it amazing that God does not judge us Christians by how well we follow our traditions and culture? Isnt it awesome that our Jesus sees us for who we are on the inside and for our love for God rather than the way we look? We are all His beautiful/handsome children in His eyes and the love of Jesus is pure! and yes Andreea, absolutely His Word is important, and just to share if I may, for myself the most important message I've come to hold most precious from His Word is that Jesus came, suffered, died for us, and ultimately paid our sin debt in full. For this, how can we as brothers and sisters in Christ, be anything other than completely grateful, thankful, and still find to focus so strongly on any another message? It is saddening to see all the negativity expressed , however I'm quite sure it is because of our different cultural/traditional/and denominational backgrounds in which we hold, live, come from, etc as Simi mentioned in her post. I've loved this channel for a long time, and this is the first video in which I've seen so much negativity posted on. With the title 'worship together,' it's wonderful that we have the opportunity to do so together. Yes, God judges men's hearts directly because He can SEE directly inside their hearts - we cannot do this, we can only see the way people dress, speak, and act, so OBVIOUSLY our evaluation HAS to be based on what we see. John told us to "test the spirits, whether they are of God" (1 John 4:1) and how do we test someone's spirit? Can we see directly into their hearts like only God can? No, Jesus said "You shall recognize them by their FRUITS" (Matt 7:16). It is by their FRUITS that we evaluate people.
And when a so-called Christian woman is disregarding the Bible's commands, and defiantly showing off a shaved head, without covering up, then we can make a fairly good assessment that she is carnal, not spiritual.

Hi, my name is Hallie and I want to say or type something. I am watching at 9:50 pm I went on a drive with my dad talking about my stepdad ( that's not what's written on my birth certificate though). But I was listening to this song in my dining room while my older sister was praying over me. At least that's what I think she was doing. But just a minute and 14 seconds I started to cry my eyes out. I am newly saved and these times have been really difficult for me. I am only ten and I have been taken away from my mom every Saturday since I was born. Meaning that my stepdad takes me. Please if you are a dad reading this PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CHILD!!! This is something that cannot be ignored. Every time my stepdad takes me he completely ignores me and acts like I am invisible. If you couldn't tell this song inspires me to live my life the JESUS WAY. Crying tears of joy now and there's a tear on my burger.

No lie, I was concerned by how rough seem to looked. "Are they healthy? Are they going through something?" I asked. But how they worshipping God tells me everything that I need to know. Taya's buzzcut would concern me more if I DIDN'T see the smile and her delight in worship. Joel's "weight gain" would concern me more had he not spoken truth of the wonder of seeing the world with the wonder of Christ. Guys, these are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Brilliant! I love that Taya cut her hair. I recently cut off 13 inch of hair into a short fade and I couldn't be happier. Of course there are days where I don't "feel" as feminine but then I remember that femininity is not wrapped up in what my hair or my body looks like: femininity has many looks, many shapes, colors and sizes. It may not always be on the cover of a magazine, but it is still oh so beautiful!

I'm from Brazil, I was at home in the bedroom with my wife lying down asleep and I was still seeing some things on the computer, when I started to hear "Wonder" and wow, I felt God filling my room, in fact I felt God transbrodando from inside to Out of me, and when you talk about the music that I live in the light, I sang asking myself how much I have lived in the light and I need a lot more, come in the light, Glory to God, for your lives. I can't tell the difference between the church and the world anymore, and even though the song has a relaxing sound I don't hear Jesus name praised only something about the "Jesus Way" and the world in wonder.
Maybe you should read the whole thing. "But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God." 1 Corth 11:16. Verse 1 literally says Tradition in the NKJV. Paul said it is good to follow the tradition but it is not required.
