The band's performance is raw and emotive, with the lead singer delivering a hauntingly beautiful vocal. This is a great example of Saliva's signature hard rock sound and emotional intensity.
🎸THANK YOU WAYNE (RIP)💫YOU CHANGED OUR LIVES 🌠 We Who Have Truly Loved The Band SALIVA®™ Since The Beginning '96-1997 Know It All Started With YOU😔 Sincere Sympathy & Prayers💎🪞👗👠📿💄🌹🌉❤️♾️
For my ex, I miss you so much it hurts, but as long as life is treating you well I'm glad of that. It's been over a year and I still haven't forgotten you Jersey Boy. I thought I was over you until a month ago I realized that I was lying to myself.
This song brings back my painful memories. All I know is if I loved anybody truly it was her, but she's gone now and there isn't anything I can do about it.
I unfortunately never got to see this band live until last year, after Josey Scott had left. It just wasn't the same...I've been a fan of them since 2001 and it took 12 years for me to finally see them live.
I first heard this song when the only man that I'll ever love, and I weren't speaking to each other, and I just broke down crying in my car. I just learned today that a mutual friend of ours passed away from cancer after a 2 year battle with it, and I'm laying here listening to this song, and think about my love, and also how our friend was lucky to of passed away surrounded by his wife, and people who love him, and I don't want to go until I see my love again.
I normally don't listen to this genre of music but the first time I heard this song at a friends house, I instantly loved it and I asked my friend who it was at what the song title is, I went to Walmart and bought the CD
2019 still a kick ass song. I got serious with one of my best friends that I always had a crush on and she decided later that she regretted it and then started talking to me less and less to the point that there was no point maintaining the friendship. Over a year later, it still sucks.
Found this forgotten gem a couple of months ago, and am so glad. Hits so much closer to home now. I'm so thankful for songs that help you heal. Music is an amazing force.
i just wanted to take a moment to say... After 6 years of cycling through chasing, dating and befriending, he called it quits. I think I listened to this song, and others, for about a year. Not because I really missed the guy, but because I couldn't get my mind to stop thinking about him. My obsession wouldn't let go after my feelings had. Listening to it now, 12 years later, I can smile while listening. Because I don't get pain from the memory, I feel happiness that I'm not there anymore. I'm not clenching on to something because the void in my hands is too much to bear.
MrsKohlhoff Thanks for sharing. I went through a very similar situation with my first love. Love.... it keeps us blind to a lot of obvious signs that it's not going to work. By the time we do realize it, the damage has been done. But with time we realize it was the best thing that could of ever happened (in my case.) When that person walks away for whatever reason, it's like losing a bit of yourself. "Reminds me how you layed us down and gently smiled, before you destroyed my life...." She smiled in her new relationship as she destroyed my life. What's even harder is when she tried to come back to me.... but it was too late. "Let me rest in pieces," pieces someone else had already picked up. It's amazing how we can look back now and smile for the good moments we did have. No bitterness, no pain, no hatred, just appreciation and hope for a happy life for the both of us. For anyone experiencing this..... keep your head up, it gets better. It takes time.... months, years even. Stay true to yourself.
+MrsKohlhoff I'm going through the decision of whether to let go or stay and it can be tough. You're torn between your responsibility to that individual and letting them go because of the pain they cause you. Some people can be so cold that I start to wonder; maybe those are the type that should be deployed? No human emotion or empathy whatsoever.
I never understood, either, why some people can be so cold. Or rather, how they can treat friends and strangers with basic respect, but come home and put their "loved ones" through hell.
I fucking love this song. Josey Scott has an amazing voice and the guitar work is great in my opinion. Yeah the guitar riffs are simple but that doesn’t make them bad. In my opinion simple guitar riffs can work as long as you use them in the right way. I love the story and it’s an overall fucking masterpiece.
