I love this video!!!! I was in Las Vegas in 2015, and I stayed at the Bellagio!!!! It's great to see that the Bellagio Buffet has gotten better!!!! You and your wife are so lucky to be in Vegas full time and sample all the Buffets of the different Hotels and Casinos!!!!

Another great video, as always! Was interested to see how the Bellagio Buffet was after all these years.
I remember eating at the Bellagio Buffet years ago around the time it first opened. It was claimed to be the best buffet in Vegas at the time. It was also the most expensive at $38 a person (dinner). I had never spent that amount of money on a buffet before, so I kept telling my friends, this better be mind-blowing! We went right at the start of dinner time, because we heard the dinner was supposed to be amazing.
As expected, the line was long, and took us almost 40 minutes to get in. I hate to say it, but the buffet, overall, was very subpar. Not one memorable dish. I remember stocking up on cheap mashed potatoes and gravy and mac & cheese, because everything else was so dry. The desserts were the only highlight, but not $38 good.
I loved how you mentioned dishes showcased from other restaurants in the Bellagio in the Buffet. I thought, "Man, I hope 'The Prime' is represented." Of course it was, and I almost fell out of my chair laughing. What a jip. The Prime is known for some of the best steaks in the world, along with killer sides like buttered mashed potatoes and the best Mac & Cheese on the planet, and don't get me started on their amazing signature sauces. And what does the Bellagio showcase? A couple of blah salad items? Wow. Just wow. And yes, some might argue that serving quality steaks from "The Prime" wouldn't make sense cost-wise, but the aforementioned sides I mentioned above, wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility. Not a good way to showcase what "The Prime" really is. It's like if you showcased McDonald's and you chose to represent them by putting out their apple slices and milk.
I really don't mean to hate on the Bellagio buffet, but it's so overpriced for what you get (my opinion of course). I really enjoyed your video though, especially the desserts and the slider finale. Pure gold!

I watch a lot of your videos I think that you should start off with the price of the buffet before you start showing it. I find myself going through and reading the comments just to find out how much the buffets is.
I've noticed at the very end of the videos he will show the outside sign and menu, in this one it's a little harder to see than the others, but the prices do change quite often, according to the locals. But all these restaurants have websites of their own that reflect that current prices.
he usually mentions the price in the beginning, he also then tells you the prices off all 3 meals like breakfast is so and so lunch is etc etc etc. I guess in his newest videos he is slacking.

Its sad - I remember when Vegas had cheap food, hotel prices, and parking was free. Now they figured out that you need to eat, you need somewhere to sleep, and you gotta park your car if you want to do anything - like go to a show which now cost upward of nearly $200 bucks per seat! Vegas used to do anything to get you to come in and gamble - now that has all changed- i predict this will end up biting them. The hockey team and later their football team will keep buffet and hotel room prices high- but people will forgo the pricey shows, and slots - and leave town as soon as the weekend is over.
right on target tcn. Just saw an interview with Steve Wynne and other Vegas builders that say the city is on a very nasty downward spiral. Everybody from the Eastern hemisphere now goes to Macau, the East Cost of the US can't open up new casinos fast enough, and most of the best restaurants are nowhere near the strip. The next time a hotel is imploded, it just may sit for 20 years as an empty lot because no financing is being made available: Vegas is a bad bet!
I live in Phoenix. This city is literally surrounded by Native American reservations. They all have casinos. Locals go there. Many still drive to Las Vegas but fewer and fewer do, and the trip is now easier because they are pretty much done widening the main highway that runs from Phoenix past the Hoover Dam. I would go more often if the big hotels reduced or eliminated the resort fees and just focused on the highest possible value for the dollar. I should be able to even get a room at the likes of Bellagio or MGM for under $60 a night MAX during mid-week. Focusing on VALUE for the money would actually benefit everyone, especially with the NHL and NFL fans coming to town; they would stay longer and spend more.

Vegas needs to return to 'adult fantasyland'. If you want to cater to families, build a dedicated, full-blown amusement park...or two.
@@seanfranks2628 that is not true at all LMFAO! Vegas is growing like a virus, I live here temporarily and our house went up in value sooo much in the last couple years, many many new hotels and other buildings going up all over the strip and downtown. Job growth is incredibly high, unemployement is at an all time low, etc. Yes SOME of the hotels are going in a downward spiral like the Stratosphere, the MGM, etc but the newer nicer hotels are opening new restaurants like hells kitchen, Etaliy, etc. Vegas as a whole is nowhere near going down. This new years was out busiest and also the superbowl set a new record for most betting and the city made a lot of income in taxes on that. Las vegas also has a new NHL team that made it to the Stanley Cup last year and they're playing in a brand new arena named T-mobile arena, NBA has a lot of events here in the summer, the Raiders are coming and building an epic stadium by the freeway, they're also building their HQs in Henderson. Vegas is doing more than fine.

You are right. The Bellagio buffet used to be the Bomb! Then the M’s buffet surpassed them. Now its the Bacchanal- at Caesars- but it cost $90. Per person.

No lamb. King crab legs are no longer cracked for you. No steaks. No chilean sea bass. No caviar bar. I saw salmon eggs and they went to get me the blini. They had to go back to the kitchen to get them. That was nice of the worker but that just tells you that they don’t plan on having the caviar bar any longer. No beluga caviar.

The caviar is gone too. No lamb. They had king crab legs but you have to crack them yourself. No Chilean sea bass. No Kobe anything like they used to have. No taste of bellagio.
They removed a lot of good things.
They added the gelato bar which is great.
They took out one hot station and added cheese and crackers.
No macarons anymore either.
Asian station is worse too. Never see any duck or dim sum items, just potstickers is the norm.

My wife and I have gone to Las Vegas the last 5 years in a row, we even got married at Caesars Palace in 2014. I would say every year we have gone the prices have gotten higher with quality going down. We decided this year not to go back based on our last two trips having bad experiences with both customer service and higher prices on everything. Bellagio was always kinda special for us because it was our first Vegas buffet experience. The last time we went in 2017 the food variety and quality had taken a hit, the price had gone up from 35.00 to 40.00, and now instead of having a server bring you your drinks you now have to get them yourself. Our poor server had like 20 tables he was trying to juggle so we still had our 1st plates on the table when we where going back for our desserts. I do not mean to sound like a downer but I mean 25.00 to park, Resort fees, Taxes, Rental Car, Room, Airline tickets, its 1000 dollars anymore before you sit in a restaurant, watch a show, hit the tables, enjoy a spa. I hope Fremont St. keeps upgrading because to be honest that is where he had the most fun the whole last trip. Main Street Station Casino was really the highlight of the trip, Wow what a shock at how nice inside that place was.

Each and every buffet video has something really delicious to offer to everyone. I was really impressed with all the buffets - because I am a foodie.

@@AllYouCanVegas I never miss your videos as I get to vegas at least once a month ( same desert ca. side ) I had a nice surprise after the major let down of my once favorite buffet " studio B " wow talk about down hill. ( first time staying at the M, I tried Anthony's steakhouse, the crab and aged prime rib hands down beat some of my favorite places , Delmonico's, top of the world, Eiffel tower. hands down the best in town as of jan 27th. Of course there's no fountains to look at or 360 view, and no table captain to golden rake a seed from the table but the price for better quality food was almost a third of the cost for the lack of tourist ambience. Lobster bisque was so delicious I was tempted to lick the dam bowl, lol P.S. the chocolate soufflé was also par for any chef at the tower. take your lady friend if you really want to impress. Anthony's steak house at the M. hope you check this place out. no video needed just enjoy yourself.

@@asingreat4630 it doesn't look yuck it just looks bland, ive been to all the vegas buffets and my faveorite is the Wynn. They say the bachanal is the best but I found my faveorites more at the Wynn. They have more italian stuff like prosciutto and salamis and cheeses and they have a nice assortment of asian foods. The desert at the cesars is the best though its like its own seperate buffet island.

Tips for future videos; What do you miss from these buffets in terms of other kinds of foods? And, why don't you try more of the sauces of the buffet? It's quite natural for meat to become a bit dry quite quickly on buffets because it's not super-fresh and it's might have laid there for a while.
Derek, you look very disappointed at The Bellagio Buffet. I definitely save my money on that one.

I never really get why ppl complain about the buffet prices. You go to an okay restaurant and will spend about $20 list price on a single entree lunch plus soft drink when you can get a full selection for about 25% more (you will most likely eat more than that) including unlimited soft drinks and desert. I think overall buffets are a good bargain so long as you’re not spending more than $35 if you’re a big eater

I have eaten there many times before and never once disappointed but I didn't see their famous king crab legs on your video but yea the deserts are the best ive had at any buffet especially the bread pudding I make the same face you did eating it so good

If you do a lot of ribs, cheese, that great salad you had, and desserts, you can get your moneys worth. But that's true for any buffet.
I just had lunch there in September and found it's considerably better than for example Cravings at Mirage. The quality was pretty good and especially things like BBQ Brisket are rare to find. Also liked that they stopped the waiter service and it's self serve drinks now.

I think you just need to put down your camera on the table and eat nicely . That's the best angle of you in the table. (At the 13:47) Don't need to hold the cam while eating...just a suggestion from a follower.
I really loved the buffet at the Bellagio when I was there. All the while you were eating I was salivating, but did you ever figure out what the chef's special was? That slider you very patiently waited for was the worst thing you had.
The chef's special remains a mystery!
