The observation that he has worked hard is an apt one. Certainly he is a talented guy with natural gifts, given that his parents are professional musicians, but we should also appreciate his years of hard work and sacrifice. He started formal training in voice and piano at the age of 5 and still works with a vocal coach. He gave up playing sports and other activities to devote more time and energy to music. His skills are really impressive but what really elevates Dimash and makes us fans fall in love, is, I think, the qualities of heart and soul that move the listener. One does not need to understand the words to understand what he is singing. It is like he is made of music.
He is also in some kind of school to master more things. He did for his lung capacity fightsport. He was so good that he had to chose between fighting and singing. He chose singing and for his health he chose to do swimming sport now. Also his mother told that he was 2 when first on stage.
He trains 3 hours each day.

He says he can play anything but he thinks he plays 7 well. But his definition of well is off the scale for us 😁 he is also very good at sports 😁
what shocked me the most about dimash is the his grandparents said in an interview that dimash was playing with the piano keyboard and he told them that the keyboard was off pitch....HE WAS 5 YEARS OLD 😭😭😭😭😂💔

He won his first award playing the piano at age 6. So far he plays 7 instruments & I know he practices singing for 3 hours every day but I don't know how much he practices playing any instruments.
In an interview I saw he said he practices 3 hours a day with a vocal coach. As he put it Luciano Pavarotti (pardon the spelling) #1 Tenor in the world had a vocal coach at 75 he said you need an outside ear to coach you because you always sound beautiful to yourself as a singer. I also saw a Bastau behind the scenes and the man works extremely hard on every aspect of his career including the stage setup and working hours with choreographers learning how to dance. He has an incredible work ethic which also shows in his ability to not just play 7 different instruments but sing in 12 different languages. He's PHENOMENAL.

I remember this concert with dombra. It was live concert in China. First the string released and he fixed it and then it broked (dombra has only two strings). He just continued to play till the end of song. He was not disturbed at all, he even smiled. He is such a joyful guy, feel at home on the stage and enjoy in all circumstances.

Most of his instrument accomplishments are probably because he has played the piano since he was five. His dad says if he wants to do something he devotes his time, and energy into learning it. He plays Piano (and keyboard), Dombra, Drums, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Xylophone (marimba), cello, mandolin (learning). There are probably more that we haven't seen. His first appearance on the stage was at the age of two in a minor role in a local theatre production. He began to take piano and vocal lessons at age 5 and first sang on stage the same year. A year later, at the age of six, he won the national piano contest.
As far as we are aware he plays 7 instruments but we haven't found him with the Cello yet

You'll notice he plays the guitar with 2 strings only. This is because he actually plays the dombra, not guitar. He will no doubt be able to learn how to play the guitar quite easily.
