Once I saw the end, I think the second pour is what creates the amazing depth in the lacing. Idk if you can attain that with one layer; I could be wrong. It's gorgeous. I just don't know where to find the tiny fan!

I'm at 18:44 mark - I see a beautiful abstract sea turtle shell or maybe it's a bird eye view of a rocky sea island with waterfalls with red rocks & beaches! - now I see you're repouring 😳 But then you bring back a beautiful abstract bird eye view of a rocky sea island! 😍
I see what they mean when the commenters said not to change it. The lacing is in two different colors. The light brown in the first painting and the second in turquios. The turquios looks more laced and almost 3D effect when you back off it than the light brown did to me. More dramatic color contrast on the first. You were happier with the second because you got the lacing you were looking for. Just goes to show you the art is subjective and people will like it both ways. Make both! Twice the sales. Everybody happy. Creative process fullfulled. Done! Excellent teaching! Thank you.
I liked the first one best. I agree with Linda Burton at 19 minutes it was gorgeous! I hated to see it covered. The second is pretty too, but man that first pour was gorgeous!

hugely inspiring, thank you! The first one reminded me of the view when I flew over Iceland....the volcanic strata intertwining with the glacial flow. The second....the future of butterfly wing design.... Amazing video
Makes me think of the pix when an underwater volcano first breaches the surface of the ocean - the darker browns that are the volcano proper under water, the (unintentional) shades of orange of the lava just below and just above the water surface, and the light browns and whites compose the billowing steam created. Absolutely gorgeous!

Before you added white over all of it, the white part looked like a fish and the middle part looked like a giraffe with horns or a scull of an antelope, kind of. I think it looked cool. I probably would have tried to make some more fish. LOL It's going to look great, not thru with video yet, because your paintings always surprise me and looks AMAZING!
Could you have chosen to blow with your mouth after spinning it? When it didn’t work to tilt it and it didn’t work with the barbecue fan? I am new to this, I am certainly not questioning you or your techniques. As a matter fact I’ve been following you and watched most of your videos! Second looks like a fairy with turquoise wings and orange hair. Love it. And even the brown part is beautiful.
The second is lovely, but I still preferred the first... Everyone's taste is different! But in your studio, you say what goes! Blessings!
