Can confirm, I’ve spent about 2 hours looking for that tiny piece from the RG exia that connects the shoulder straps to the arms.
With the advent of the late UC, the advancements in minovsky technology allowed the late UC mobile suits to be more energy efficient, this means downsizing the suits as well. Also worth noting that at this time, the prices of plastic were increasing too, hence bandai opted for smaller plastic kits

The moment you can hear MG's heart breaking.
Easily the most challenging gunpla I've built. Might even be smaller than the old MSiA Gundam toys. The fact that rg is even possible at this size is nothing short of alchemy. Surprised nothing broke, clipping & cleaning the V-fin was pure anxiety

For the red markings on the face you could use a red Gundam marker and a toothpick. Take a piece of scrap paper and drain some red on it, then dip the toothpick tip in to provide a fine point for panel lining said color in. I did it for the power symbols on the HG Barbatos and it came out pretty great.
Just finished building this as my first gunpla. Phew, that was an interesting start to the hobby. Next model will definitely be bigger. But all in all an impressive little kit

This is my first rg kit
I bought this as my first model and while researching ahead of building it got talked into making something else first, so I built a HGGTO Char Zaku II and RG wing zero first, tbh this kit isn't too bad cause everything is solid, the small parts can be hard to contend with but I find kits with janky/frail parts harder to build than ones with small parts, like some of my biggest struggles have been the skirting on the HG Messer and the tubing on the Zaku II RG (once again due to the fragile tubing moreso than the tiny parts.)
I love how serious the reviews are and then the unboxing vids are just, vIgOrOuS eFfEcT pArTs.

I bought both the HGUC Crossbone Gundam and the Full Cloth GBF, but this is worth more then both of those kits combine. I'm definitely getting this.

Not really, it's the standard RG price (2000-2500 yen).
But compared to the others RGs it's so minuscule it seams more like a scam more that a steal.For the same price you coul buy RG red Frame, Quanta, MK II or Talgeese, or by spending a couple more buck 00 Raiser or Astray Gold

@@s3d17 yeah, in Europe too... Except when you buy them from japanese sites, like HBJ or Banzai Hobby. And the price he showed is for HLJ. The fact is that you will never pay 20$ by buying it in a shop, but you will pay 20$ (plus shipping) for almost every RG if you buy them from those sites

This is why people still shops at local stores... because basically everyone has a problem with the government.
I just bought one from Hobby Lobby of all places. They only have 3 different MS kits at a time and don't cycle their inventory very often. But they always have sales, as I bought my Crossbone for only $12. 😋

My only problem with the Crossbone is posing it. There are so many weapons and awesome poses you can do that it is hard to choose.

there is the MG Crossbone X1 Ver.ka, it's a very decent kit in terms of build and posing. However, it requires lots of touch-ups, such as the red scars on the head, the yellow parts on the shoulders and core fighter and black sections on the zanbuster parts. It comes with a small sheet of dry transfers for the important markings and a sheet of stickers, that all need re-shaping using a knife before you stick them on to the kit. I hope this helps.

Not a fan of the pirate theme, but I love how this Gundam is armed to the teeth. The front skirts are claws, beam knuckles, heat daggers on the feet etc.
I bought it yesterday and I confirm how small is the scale for being a RG model (compared with HG Classic Gundam) and I got some challenge building the head parts, specially the eyes stickers on the small eyes area.
This was my first gundam in years, it was a pain on how small it was but man did i have fun, i kinda want another one i love it

Lack of red scars and chest sticker are deal breakers for me. I want to see a review of Tallgeese II and III in the future.
You get stickers for the red scars or you can panel line them yourself. Mecha did panel line them but he did it in black for some strange reason.

Yes that is an easy fix but not acceptable for RGs.
With the mantle and hook and chain things with the front skirts all you need is something like the side skirt parts off the Vidar and he's full-on an AoT character haha

I had the MG Crossbone and was disappointed when I broke a piece mid-build 🤷🏻♂️😅.

The newer RGs are really relaxing to build actually, i enjoyed my sazabi build.
I haven’t had any problems assembling the RG Wing Zero. It’s a pretty solid kit for beginners.
The size makes since. As tech develop, better and more powerful tech gets smaller. The f91 and crossbones are logical designs. The smaller suits make way more since. Imagine being able to take cover and hide behind obstacles. After all, will better tech comes better weapons, armor and high mobility.
For those who don't know, he is throwing the Perfect Grace Seven Sword shield as a promise in his review.
i will wait till they release R X2 and X0. X4 might be good. dont know X4? its crossbone full armor.

Have my doubts but you never know. One that I really REALLY hope they do soon is the Gundam epyon for the RG line, we already got two wing gundams and a tallgeese in the line, let's get an epyon and make it as awesome as the tallgeese and maybe even more.

Raihan Miftah ID love to see a RG infinite justice too, in terms of its frame though if the rg justice did well then they'll probably go with the old frame or refine it to work better or build a new frame for it given the tallgeese up to the crossbones. We'll have to wait and see, first things first though, the results of the RG Nu Gundam.

those "tube things" on the core fighter are actually the beam sabers of the Gundam. They function as beam machine guns for the core fighter.
Sharpies are your best friend for that fine point differently colored panel liner
This was the first kit I got, a christmas gift, waited to build a HG Barbatos first just cuz I wanted some experience doing gunpla before I made it since I LOVE the look of this litl guy. Sadly My full eye was dropped and lost so mine is in permanent pirate eye patch mode which is fine, but does make me a litl sad.
Love your videos usually come to check them out before I buy a kit just so I have an idea of what I have coming.
I like the way the mantle attaches with this instead of the way the HGBF Full Cloth attaches. The shoulder attachment always pops off. This seems more solid.
So who will dare to customize these to the RGBF Cross Bone Maoh or the Crossbone X1 Full Cloth?
Review the rg full bernern gundam, I absolutely love it tbh
And the X1 can wipe the floor with all other suits that are bigger. Maybe the qunT can give it a run for its money due to the pilot.

You can mix your own red panel line wash pretty easily actually 😂
Anyhow, since the scars are recessed anyway, you should be able to put the red paint in pretty easily, works great with the HG Full Cloth I have ☺

like the HGUC ver.? i have the p-bandai of the HGUC crossbone x1 and it has the screw whips along with the ABC mantle and scissor anchors that the HGUC ver. didn't have....

The red lines like the Destiny are one of the better ideas to include on a Gundam head.
Finally getting back into Gunpla after four years of hiatus (last kit i bought was 1/100 Gusion Rebake) and the Crossbone was my first MG. Somehow, it didn't completely turn me away from MGs, thing was an absolute nightmare of a kit. It definitely hasn't completely sold me on MGs (now all I have is an X with a broken arm for the cannon, Nu with a missing finger, and Banshee which is.....a unicorn MG). I'm glad to see it's a different story with this RG release, though, because I've had pretty piss poor luck with RGs too.
After looking at a MG Crossbone Full Cloth I can see the attachment points for an RG Full Cloth.
