The Yamaha P22 is the ideal upright piano designed specifically for schools, teachers, and students. Featuring the widest music rack available for any piano, grand or otherwise, the Yamaha P22 also comes with its own built-in toe-block dolly frame with ball-bearing wheels, making it easy to wheel around and between classrooms. The frame brace provides additional structural stability, which translates into more stable tunings that keep the piano sounding great for longer stretches of time. Cabinet and cosmetic designs aside, this is the quintessential upright piano, with a lovely light action and pure, clear tone, capable of expressing a wide range of color and emotion. No wonder the Yamaha P22 is the world’s most popular classroom piano! Visit cunninghampiano.com for more information

We have a 3 year old (manufactured in Indonesia's very high-tech Yamaha Piano factory) Yamaha P22 (satin-ebony) piano & it's absolutely fantastic! We down-sized from a Kawai RX-3... 6' 1" grand piano, that was also a fabulous piano! We are more than satisfied with the Yamaha P22!

Your performance is perfect! Great presentation. I didn't know such piano existed for the special purpose. Probably good for any home too.

I enjoyed your Mozart performance! Really nice... Love the transition section and the feel changes of this piece. Mozart was actually avant garde!

Thanks for the video! Would P22 built in Japan around 1970s be too old to play?

I’m considering buying a 2022 P22. What year is this one? You don’t say and I’m wondering if all the features that you described will be in the one that I just looked at. I just met with Elton John’s conductor and stand in when he is not there. This gentleman plays in his place and I had the most amazing experience. He played so many of Elton songs and the Eagles and Bruce Hornsby. He can just play it by listening to it on CZcams. I have never seen this talent. Ok my only concern is I’m very drawn to a U1 at another store that is a 2001. It plays so well and it’s a black matt finish which I love. The P22 is expresso which would actually go with all my furniture, but the black one is just so beautiful, but I don’t know if I should go with a new piano or an older piano. Any advice would be wonderful.
