Awesome beautiful video. Reminds me of the days my Granddad took all us grandkids for a Sunday ride on his old flat bed buck board wagon in the 1960’s. Some of the best times of our lives.
Such a wonderful video. My son is very into horses these days. We both enjoyed seeing them get their exercise. (Farmer Bob's voice is also pretty soothing, I might add.)
I'm still in training on how to drive.. I was told I can not ride anymore by my doctors after an accident. So I went looking for couple of good horses, came up with two wonderful donkies. Homer and Jeffro, and I thought mules where hard headed.. I'm going to be a donkey skinner.. one way or another.. trust is slowly coming..
Like your videos and I can't wait for you to post the next one. I have a quick question. With cattle steers are generaly bigger than cows and bulls, is it the same for geldings? Are geldings bigger than mare and stallions?
+faceman96 Thanks for the comment, I do not know the answer to your question. I know the gelding does not reach his full potential in appearance but I don't know about the size. Maybe someone out there does.
Studs grow a bigger muscle mass than geldings so it looks like geldings who are thinner muscled are taller, but they generally are not taller than studs. As for cattle bulls also have more muscle mass than steers and steers sometimes do grow a bit taller. Steer muscle mass is also marbled with fat so they make great steaks, (which is usually the reason for castrating bull calves.). Oxen are generally tamer bulls who were castrated after one year of age so they have a bigger muscle mass for pulling. The amount of testosterone a horse or bull calf as it grows determines much about its eventual size. Oxen can also be tamer cows, but that was not as common back in the day.

Thanks for the nice comment.
There's always an ulterior motive with the horses, usually their stomachs as you show here lol! I think the bell is great though!
You must be a horse person. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you so much. I never thought my voice was soothing, but thanks.
This is so cool! I've always wanted to ride in a wagon!
+Ava Koyle Thank you Ava, it was nice of you to comment.
@@farmerbob9572 Yep, no problem!
I'm watching all ypur videos. I'm in love with your horses 😍
Those are nice words. Thank you and Doc, Duke and Yogi thanks you.
I’ve always wanted my own horses
Horses are very enjoyable. One gets a lot of exercise with horses. The down side is it takes a lot of time and money.
I clicked on this to see how to rig a three-up, and stayed for the ride!
+KK Icons Thanks for jumping on board.
LOVE IT!
+Marilyn Conley Thanks Marilyn

+Drama Free Farms Good luck with your donkeys. As you probably know, the horse or donkey's temperament means everything.
Yes sir... I'm known as the donkey man in these parts..

faceman96 sometimes the geldings grow taller, and grow not as bulky as a stallion.
