Everlast 250DPI tig. 5 years, running great. Everlast 250ex mig, 4 years, running great. Watercooler on the tig is shit. Bearings are garbage, beware. Overall, Everlast are great, Pop the sheet metal off and look at the wiring. topnotch. Chinese made, American quality controlled. I replaced the foot pedal on the tig with a miller, because it was trash. Watch out for the connector, because is also garbage. maybe the Nova is ok, not sure... Other than the water cooler, very happy with them. There is something wrong with the design of the watercooler because I replaced the bearings and within 6 months it started leaking again... Not sure. I would buy them again no question, For light'ish duty, perfectly fine... Service, not so much. Cheers from Canada..!
Is it possible to update the firmware for new firmware releases? Related, the fans could easily be changed to on demand in the firmware if Everlast listens to customers. Are the knobs potentiometer, encoders? Its needs a Christening with a Hub sticker. Can you demo the gouging tip when it arrives?
I don't think the fan could be changed with a software update, id imagine the fan is just hardwired to the switch. And ya when I get a chance here I'll make a video about the gouging tip and some other equipment I got for it. I'll tell my helper we need another sticker lol 👌

You should call Everlast, to my knowledge there is a adjustment that can be made to improve it's start
