お友達の気持ちはわかるのですが、スケールモデルは基本的には、製作者の
同意がなければ、触るべきではないと思います。なぜなら、モデルは細心の注意と多大の時間、製作費、経験（失敗を含む）を必要とするからです。「触ってもよいか」と予め警備員にいておけば、「一本指なら触っていいよ」とみて見ぬふりをしてくれたかもしれません。警備員の仕事は展示物の安全を確保するためです。また海外或いは日本では、誤って展示品をこわしたり、盗まれる事例があり、気違い的な行動をする人もいます。私のコメントに気を悪くしないでね。わたしは模型を何十年も作ってきましたので、模型は大事にします。

How incredible was your visit to the Yamato museum (place I can't go because I live in Mexico), but I've seen images of the museum and it's incredible. Something curious is that the port of Kure served as inspiration for the naval district in the anime Kantai Collection, it was also on display the closest thing to the deck and command bridge of the battleship Yamato used in the movie "The men of the Yamato" (Otoko -tachi no Yamato)

I have seen videos of the Mikasa museum, pretty hear breaking actually. The ship is nowhere near what she was like when she was a fighting vessel.

yamato is one of the biggest ship far bigger than american battleship there is also an anime called uchu senkan yamato it was very underrated

Actually no. She was only heavier. This was because of the lower quality armor Japanese industry was producing at the time. Meaning they had to mount significantly more to get the same protection as US battleships.
