The second annual workshop, organized by the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts for diaspora Tibetan students, concluded on July 31 after a month-long immersion. Thirty-two Tibetan youths from the United States, Switzerland and a few other countries participated they performed at the closing ceremony. Dolma Gyari, Acting Sikyong of CTA, speaking as the chief guest, highlighted the Chinese government's efforts to suppress Tibetan identity and emphasized the crucial role of Tibetans in free countries in preserving their unique cultural heritage.
