In this crazy video of a brave Canadian pirate sniper out to prove himself, he takes a huge risk approaching a German held city, and somehow manages not only to survive, but take the city single handedly.

The guy wasn't even sharing its prowesses until late in his old years. His wife was shocked when she saw how he was welcomed like the hero liberator that he was during a military commemoration in the Netherlands, even she didn't know any of it.
He was also extremely empathetic for such a warrior. He went out of it's way more then once to spare lives and take prisonners.
