watching Rimuru Tempest annihilate an army of thousands in just a few seconds while staring coldly down at them will always be one of my favorite anime moments ever. i knew it was coming as soon as the old man said "You have incited the anger of the one who's rage you should fear most", but holy shit Rimuru didnt hold back.
he made it quick, clean, and simple with absolutely zero emotion

That whole episode of one of the greatest display of power ever. Rimuru eliminates an invading army of 20,000 by himself in a few minutes, summons one of the most powerful demons in existence, and performs an unprecedented ritual of resurrection to bring every one of his slain allies back to life.
Okay, that last one was technically Raphael, but done in his body with his power.

Dishonorable subterfuge was the only way to win. That's how powerful he was, that the main antagonist, as powerful as he was, couldn't be sure he'd win.
And this was war. And one side was nigh-gleeful in their slaughter and war of attrition. Their plan was simple and efficient. It cost one immensely strong foot soldier to help split a mountain of fire and heat and death.

Fate strange/fake not the grand order
Including the Deep Sea King instead of the alien boss Boros is downright criminal
It's a show of power, Boros is the only one who witnessed Saitama's powers, compared to the Deep Sea King fight.
The inclusion of sypha from castlevania was absolutely a perfectly warranted pick. Well done
Right!? Castlevania had some great action set-pieces but Sypha's were always my favorite for the creative ways she used her elemental magic.

The best moment ive ever seen is the last episode of Katanagatari, where the invisible shackles that made the series take as long as it did are finally removed, and he does a boss rush of the entire series in a few minutes. Chills the entire time as he calmly explains how strong he really is and always has been.

Season 4 Episode 9 of Castlevania is just an absolute banger. The whole episode is amazing and I will just watch that one alone at least once a month.
Castlevania and Castlevania Nocturne are some of the best animated shows ever produced.

I have to agree with Rimuru using Megiddo, I've watched this scene countless times, and every single time I get goosebumps, it's the perfect example of why you never judge what someone is capable of
I liked how he finished of everyone who was left after megiddo with the skill that instakills everyone who is afraid of him
I'd also consider adding in Kenshin from Ruroni Kenshin. Not really a rage mode but his riding the edge of losing his humanity and becoming Battosai again is always great.

i'd like to think that what rimuru does isn't just a massacre, it's better than that, it's a mass assassination, massacring people usually let the victim know who kills them, like what ainz does, but, in rimuru's megido case, the whole army didn't even know who or what attacks them as they all just drops dead almost at the same time

The final Ichigo vs Aizen fight was legendary and the music score put shivers down my spine.
Not sure I would've chosen that moment from Misfit of Demon King Academy. I wouldve chosen the fight with one of the last gods where he tells him "You think killing me would stop me?" And then proceeds to annihilate him.
I say the whole series is just one big showcase of him being overpowered.
The fact that the civis in OPM didn't notice his punch cleared the city storm and still didn't believe he was strong was so aggravating. He literally punched the weather away as a by product of his punch and they still went "iTs BEcaUse tHe OthEr HERoes weAKeNed him" I know it's for plot but still lol
Aizen bodying every single good guy in Bleach in less than 15 episodes solo dolo mode should LITERALLY be the #1 most insane display of power in anime history . what tops that ?

100% Other top moments imo were:
Aizen stopping Ichigo with his finger, even his theme song
Ichigo's transformation against Ulquiorra
Dangai Ichigo grabbing Aizen by the face, then humiliating him, despite Aizen's monstrous growth
That one scene of Mustang against Envy in full Metal Alchemist gave me wild goosebumps

I agree with some of these, but one showcase I’ll never ever forget is Kurama vs Elder Toguro in YYH. Still to this day (canonically), Elder Toguro is still connected to the Sinning Tree, believing he is fighting a fight where Kurama won’t die while his never ending life force is constantly being drained away, essentially feeling like he’s dying without ever feeling the sweet release of actually dying
Just finished rewatching this like a month ago. couldnt agree more. it's such a cold scene
What kurama said as the fog cleared hit harder than the fight. It's undoubtedly one of the coldest lines I've heard, it gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. The battle that followed was one of my personal favorites from the series.
Gaara vs. Rock Lee and Saitama vs. Genos maybe the most iconic scenes of their respective series. Even Pain's destruction of Konoha and Saitama vs. Elder Centipede are are more iconic than the ones featured here.
Something that should've been included in this list is the climax of no game no life zero where the 3 strongest powers collide, get rerouted and used to drill to the center of the earth. It's an insanely chilling feat of power.
Archer using Unlimited Blade Works for the first time was cool and probably one of my favorite moments in Fate, but the Rumbling just takes the cake. I knew it was coming, what it would do, and the consequences it would have on the world, but I was still shocked by how they pulled it off. The menacing chori as Eren embraced Ymir followed by Footsteps of Doom playing right after cemented it as one of my all time favorite anime scenes and favorite AOT episode.
13:02 Saitama punching the freaking rain out of the sky remains one of the coolest punches he's ever delivered
I think it was Kyle Hill that did episode on this, and calculated that his fist was moving at speed that had to be wrote down as percent of light speed.
I don't care about the ranking. All of them are my favorite memory. I'll cherish them for the rest of my life.
I don't know how it's possible to make an anime moments list in 2023 without showing the name of the animes...

Yami and asta vs dante was peak fiction one of the best fights I've ever seen
I was thinking of that too, but I almost feel like Meraleona taking on the reincarnated elves or licht vs Julius were better power showcases

You really should put the anime titles on the screen for a moment or add the names as chapters so we can see them when scrolling the play head. Just my input though, fire list as always 🤘🏻

Rimuru Tempest power against the army from Reincarnated as Slime was the only anime where I felt bad for the bad guys. Typically the enemy would be injured as a final warning, but he just sniped them all in an instant with some of them not even holding a weapon. 😱
Breh deku gettin the show of power and not all might is a crime. Also rudeus hitting badigadi was worth a shout out as well
The Daily Life of the Immortal King* - 6:58 you left out that since she killed her he literally rewrote the timeline after destroying it just to bring her back into this universe even the underworld was scared to their knees that she was not supposed to be there and quickly sent her soul back before he would unravel multiple universes including the underworld, the "immortal king" is a god of gods who isnt rivaled by anyone, i guess u can say its the goku,Deku konundrum...except maybe Deku is mortal

My favorite has to be frier v Aura, it's not as flashy or action packed as many of the others. It's the spine tingling terror that Aura faces after the perfect set up and then when she puts the sword to her neck her hair starts falling from being cut the little splash of blood. Perfect set up.
Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly Literally walks thru a Kamehameha blast and laughs. That has to be one of the top power flexes in all of anime.
I would like to highlight 1. Rock lee vs Gaara 2. Madara vs Shinobi Alliance 3. Finale of No Game No Life 4. Medusa vs Saber (Fate Heaven's feel) 5. Herrscher of void vs Anti-entropy (Honkai Impact) 6. Saitama vs Genos 7. Mami vs Homura 8. Tatsuya nuking Army (Mahouka koukou no rettousei) etc.

I don't know why My Hero Academia is mentioned for having good writing. Let's not forget that the only reason Deku abandoned UA, was beyond livid, and took off to track OFA was for the sole purpose of "seeing his friends smile again..." referring to his *entire* class. Then, what brought him back was each classmate reminding him of a trivial thing he helped them with.
Other than that, I think Hunter x Hunter's fight between the Chimera King and that old man should've been on this list.

I am not sure you understand Ainz' spell... the payment cost to cast the spell was the nearly 100k enemy soldiers, that payment was to summon the Lovecraftian (straight out of the mythos in fact) "cute little goats" that he then commanded to stomp the remaining enemy forces. He summoned the children of a Lovecraftian Diety to do his bidding. That is the overpowering insanity of that spell.
shadow and "I am atomic" went so hard, that show was such a treat, me and my brother gave it a chance and enjoyed it so god damn much. Very fun show, very neat how it/the mc treats many tropes

You know, I think Zenitsu should at least get a honorable mention. His power feats flipped his character very strongly from useless to breathtaking. Especially spider fight.
Natsu should have been on this list for his fight between sting and Rouge. The fact he was toying with them both and basically went ham with his final attack that took both out at once was a massive flex.

It is scary as hell how 100K Ainz killed in an instant was not even a spell to kill but it was just a summoning spell and 100K died on spot was necessary blood sacrifice to activate it.

11:03 Kage are NOT Jonin. The Kage are way above Jonin outside of insane outliers like Kakashi & Might Guy. Hell, one of the Kage in that fight was literally part of a group in the past that was given their own unique rank (Sannin) specifically because their performance was too far above Jonin to go unrecognized. Madara would (and did) walk on every Jonin in the series except for the 2 mentioned earlier and they still don't fare well against him. If you're gonna use terms from the show then at least make sure you're not flat out wrong about what you're saying.

Ainz showing off with his army (where at least 3 of their mounts could destroy a whole kingdom) instakilling 100, 000 people, then summons his "cute little goats" in a single spell is undoubtedly his best showcase of his power. Although I'd like to mention his fight against shalltear where he has shown how great he is in pvp. He instakilled shalltear, an undead. Bro undead are resistant to death magic dependent on their level. Shalltear who is max level could be said to be completely immune to it, but he did. With his mastery of time magic, how could you defend against an aoe instant death spell that could bypass immunity to it?
Eminence in the shadows contains a lot of flex scenes. Cid's atomic is always a welcome treat. His initial use and his last one in the season 1 is definitely a great showcase in a general perspective (when the public sees it). To me though a great contender is his fight against Olivier and her clones. Bro bit her neck off killing her. He also moved the sword to miss his heart. I got the most chill when he used atomic, smiling, with a sword on him. Dude is a psycho and I love it! (Not in the medical sense but you get the gist of it.)
What I like about Rimuru's carnage is that he put an anti magic barrier and his op skill deals physical damage. He simply magnifies the sun. It's simple yet completely effective. He then finishes off with an instant death spell where he'll collect all souls of those who lost their will to fight. I dunno man, instant death spells are just always welcome for me. Can't wait to see "the otherworld doesn't stand a chance against the power of instant death" animated.
Shuna wiping out Clayman's Index Finger's entire undead legion deserves an honorable mention.

I loved this! Can you do a #2 character triumph video? For instance, in Hinamaro sumo when Ozeki won against Danial. That was one of my favorite moments from the series!
I think all your videos are great and your commentary is very much appreciated. But I loved your old videos when you actually let the action play through and the anime show itself. Instead of you talking over it. No malice. no hate. You always pick the best clips. I just want to watch and enjoy them.

Sometimes, we stare aghast when lots of humans die, but hearing Great Sage count every soul harvested is like a point healed to my soul. I was a bit petty though, I would have killed Myulan, (if Youm and Grucius will fight, I would have killed them as well). Puppet or not, they are still on my kill list.
Now, Aainz Ooal Gown, he is a whole lot of golden kettle. He's like the gift that keeps on giving. I was giggling at the end of that massacre...

They were pretty low-tier takes, very much leaning into recency and popularity of the shows, rather than awesomeness of the rage-modes.
The redemption of Erin is knowing that he alone became thew villain and he made his own friends and people kill him to redeem their race.
I remember cringing so badly when Cid called out his move the first time.

I realise this may be a mention coming out of left field, because the anime itself doesn't have powers or anything like that since it's just boxing, but Makunouchi Ippo, from Hajime no Ippo, could stand to be an honorable mention on this list. The willpower he possesses in spite of the overwhelming damage he accrues during some of his fights, enabling him to find the limit of what he can take, and rise above it in the same instant.. Boxing may be very mundane in a list like this, which I feel makes it all the more impressive that Ippo has sent chills down my spine on more than one occasion.
on the ainz summoning the goats, it is quite fun how he latter lies that it will take a decade to be able to recast it, to try and downplay his power to calm the nation he helped.

The 100k kill was the sacrifice to summon the goats. so kinda part of the spell. but it says a lot when thats just the opening phase of a spell.
