👍👍👍. Love your videos as they’ve only gotten better and love your interaction with your subs and having Jerry answer questions. Five year old boys breaking things by playing hard didn’t appear to make Henson happy. As a team you both work so hard and I do remember the difficulty keeping eye on the smaller kids and teaching responsibilities and cost of things. They hated tack cleaning the most cus they had so many they were responsible for and if got broken cus was too dry or covered in sweat hated if someone or horse got hurt. Gramps and our part owner and ruled tenderly with a fist and the kids loved the work afterwards. One step to their own horse or going on a long ride and proud when someone said nice work on the tack. Just a memory and certain Henson especially has his own for sure. Jaspers parents taking their time with his own horse is perfect and definitely safer as grampa Jerry stated. Horses are absolutely beautiful and moms are stunning coming from pasture. But the way you handle all the horses makes for a best friend one can count on. That’s what I enjoy the most from first handling to the saddle and the first ride when together it counts the most. Keep showing all the work ya do everyday and have Henson and Jerry tell their stories along with your own moms version cus it’s exciting to live this life all over again in my memory bank of ranching and the great time loving it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Ain't it awful the number of people who don't seem to understand that raising kids is the parent's responsibility and theirs only. My family started them on horses and had no ponies at all. The local ranchers all had "kid horses" they shared around. Then WWII came along and all the kid horses went to the military in San Antonio to start training Calvary riders, I was following my Dad on Balingwire at 4 yr. old, he was about 20 and mostly bombproof. He did run away with me at the pens once, but my uncle caught him. The war changed all that, we went to Ft Worth for Dad to work in the aircraft factory. After that it was my Moms home place with a few horses, cows and regular visits to my Dad's home and some ranch work. Anyway, to each and every family, do it your way.

Well, there’s Jerry and Nancy that own the ranch. They are Henson’s parents. I married Henson 16 years ago and we have 3 children. Brad runs the neighboring ranch and Jasper is his son. I don’t have a video introducing everyone, some would rather not be on camera so we just kind of did introductions within the various videos.
