Ochiba Oranda Jan 2024

The purple / lavender color oranda with brown stains to beautify her. This is one out of two latest Ochiba Oranda I bred. Notice that there is a bit of tosakin flip in the tail.

I gave daphnia, bloodworm, saki hikari growth and hikari wheatgerm.

What a fantastic fish. Could you please tell me how you get such great photos on your blog? What lighting do you use?

I use a small tank with black background. The lighting is natural sunlight. I cover the front of the tank with black cloth and I take the picture from inside the cloth.

Silver usually refers to the bluish color. Ochiba refers to the purplish color with brown stains. So there is a slight difference 🙏
