  • The mini-Moog is one of the oldest analog synths. The construction of this model has one limitation: it has lowest note priority, which cannot be changed as in modern synths. So it's a bit challenging to play riffs that were composed on instruments with high note priority and require alternating hand technique to perform the pattern. The roles of your hands change: now the left hand must play backbeat in staccato, as the right hand is playing legato. It can be done. though...

      Thank you. I just watched your video about transplanting the boards from a 1973 Minimoog into a bit later case. The serial number of my Moog is betwee the numbers on your video.
      And.. this one has the buffer board and voltage selector switch.

      @@audiopaja1526 another cool thing about your 74 mini is you have the square head footage and waveshape knobs instead of the more common chicken head knobs as they are called.
