We're here to take a look at everything GAN changed in its update to the iconic GAN 356 X. The new V2 retains the hefty, controllable feel of the X, but with updated features like a frosted finish and the new spring compression/tension system. Also, it got a lot cheaper. We think this is a great release!

I love having some substance in each turn, feature from the X, but I like the adjustment system from the XS. So I'm glad this was my upgrade.

i got a GAN Infinity 2 weeks ago.
Ordered an Angstrom GAN XS yesterday and a GAN megaminx.
and now i'll order a GAN X V2 next Thursday and a BUNCH of lube.

tommygunrip69 with some break in the matte finish is really good. It doesn't take long either. I understand it's not for everyone but if you haven't given it a chance yet you should

The matte finish isn't that bad. Once you solve on it, it becomes sort of glossy like the x. Also, the matte finish is a better way to protect against the texture of the cube to feel different in comps. It's to try to reduce the change made by hand sweat. As for why they don't make two versions, two versions mean that they would need more equipment and people to make another version rather and therefore have more things to pay for. This would decrease their profits which is why having less people for only 1 version would make it better in terms of profit.
