I am obsessed with the way this turned out and I hope that if you try it out on your next client you love this lash map as much as I do. I watched this so many times I love it! I've been lashing for only about 2 months, it's still slow on my end. I didn't understand what you meant the first time watching this about the spikes in each section, theeenn it made more sense! I can't wait to try this technique! I figure it would be much more easier to put the spikes first then work around. :)
Aww thanks babe! I'm glad you understand ☺️ yes that's why I add the spikes first because it's easier to map it out with the spikes and then you just fill in with the shorter lengths. It makes it so much easier to work that way.

Fabulous technique of mapping 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥. I've always thought it was gross to see techs rest their palms on the clients forehead. I'm about to take a lash class & I'm going to always refer to your videos.
Thanks hun!! I'm glad you liked it. I agree, something about my hands touching my clients head is not for me. I don't like that skin to skin contact especially for such a long period of times and with the light, palms get sweaty clients makeup or facial creams rub on my hands and I don't like it. So having a tissue there helps keep everything sanitary 🙌

aw thanks for watching hun. it took me 3.5 hours. normally for whispy sets i take a little longer because of styling.

Thanks hun! Good luck on your journey 💋❤️ I rinse with water. Saline leave a residue behind that's why I don't use it. So make sure to clean their lashes with an approved lash cleanser for lashes and then rinse with water. I talk about in all my videos why I don't use saline.

Love this video and this set! 🥺😍😍 what dimensions did you use for the spikes and the shorter lashes to create that look? I usually end up always doing like 10D and feel like they look to bulky 😭

Love this video and just started following you. Thank you for recommending NOT to put the strips on lashes on the clients forehead!!! I see this all the time on Facebook page I follow and it drives me CRAZY!!!!! Soooo unsanitary and I can only imagine how uncomfortable it is for clients.
Keep up the great videos!!! Can I ask what you use for a lamp? And are you able to do a video on volume lash fans? :) and to clarify, for the spikes, you are putting about 4 of them right beside each other?
Oh thanks babe for the love and support!! 😘 So I use a LED ring light that I got from Amazon. You can find some really affordable ones on there. and I will be making a video on the difference between volume and mega fans. And in this video specifically I did put four spikes next to each other. But you can do whatever you'd like this is just one way on how I do them.
So as a beginner lash tech how should i order lashes?? Your videos are really great!!!!! But idk what lashes to order or more important to order & also how many trays should be ordered at a time..

Spikes are the longer lengths. That's why I call them spikes because they are the peaks in the set. That's what creates the whispiness.

Hi Yoyi. I was trained but i feel like I didn't get much information while there and I am doing a set on my Model on Monday infront of my instructor to see if I get certified. However I find your videos really helpful probably even more helpful then my class so thank you. However I do have a few questions tho, how long does it take you yo do a full set ? Also, when making fans do you always squeeze the end with your fingers ? Thanks. Also much love from Hawaii☺
Awww good luck on your lash journey! Honestly take as much as you can from your class, ask alot of questions. You won't learn everything you need to know from one class. You'll learn alot of things on your own through trial and error so don't feel discouraged. It's part of the process to learn as you go. So I like to take my time on my full sets so I take around 3 hours but as a beginner you shouldn't worry about time. Focus on isolation and placement. Your speed will improve once your perfect those 2. And I do have a video on how I pinch. Go check it out. I explain everything there on how to pinch.
