Doesn't seem like much of a change. They've opted for more humanist typefaces and a more gentle graphic design but the studio's still the same. They might be keeping this for around a year, give or take, but I feel a bigger change is right around the corner for 2020 :^) We're finally going to enter another decade soon in a year, though we'd have to wait for 2022 or 2023 to see new trends in graphic design that I'm really excited about!
the music is giving chills, such a sad or end-of-the-world theme... also the depressing blue colors are making everything sad... still a wonderful visual dressing tho

The new intro doesn't look like it was plagiarized. It just takes elements of NRK Nyheter's intro but it doesn't copy and paste nearly every single detail. It also comes with its own original music as well. Also TV3 has a rather long history of "plagiarizing" in my opinion. For a time in around 1991, it had a broadcast design based around that of Austrian public broadcaster ORF and looked like a rather more low-budget version of channels ORF1 and ORF2.

There's a recording of a Buletin Utama broadcast from 1991 and a continuity clip under the name Intisari Rancangan TV3 (1991) on CZcams and you can compare them with closedown clips from ORF1 or ORF2 (try searching for "orf sendeschluss 1991" or 1989-1990).
Unfortunately we can't just 'make' a transparant intro, we rely on the original creators who are willing to give us the original intro. We're not planning on having RTL Luxembourg or RTS on the channel in the foreseeable future. The Israeli broadcaster KAN is up next.

@Soham Bhadra NRK actually uses a modified version of a generic font, the generic font is called Etica, and their font is Etica Slab Serif....
