Just bought this lens to use with my new Zf. Main reason is to be able to use the Zf at an event restricting cameras to lenses less than 6” long ! My daily lens is 24-120 F4 Nikkor (too long) & don’t want to spend $$ .. Also, this event will go into the evening so f1.8 might be needed depending on the lighting .. Nitrocross racing.. Happy to report how it performed tomorrow.

@@AndreiDimaReviews my main challenge was shooting through 2 chain link fences !!.. Had to use manual focus in the end with focus peaking from within the venue .. Had reasonable success guesstimating the correct focus point. Then I actually moved out of the venue to the parking garage across the road, reverted back to auto focus .. it coped well with the low light at f2 1/200 second ISO 1000. Silent focusing and pretty quick. sharp center as others have said .. awesome value for the $. Not sure when I’ll use it next but good to have in my armory .. 24-120 Nikkor back on the Zf now

Just noticed the focus box turns green in AF-C mode in ZF. Not the case with my Zfc. Nice to know. Nice review btw

@@nivin3 my z6 III did the same thing out of the box but I found a setting that let's them turn green. Perhaps the zfc has the same option.
Like you said in the previous video on the 9mm f5.6, this lens is boring looking.. doesnt quit match with the classic look of the ZF..
True, but it is very good optically. This is going to look better on Z6/Z7 cameras.
