Feeling at home in the Gerolzhofen public library

From 2020 to 2023, the German Library Association (dbv) supported more than 650 libraries in their development into contemporary Third Places as part of the "Vor Ort für Alle" funding program. The Gerolzhofen public library was among the institutions supported. The focus was on making the library a nicer place for visitors to spend time. Among other things, the funding was used to set up a multipurpose room and a library café.
"Vor Ort für Alle" was funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) on the basis of a resolution of the German Bundestag. The funding came from the federal program "Rural Development" (BULE) of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
