I used to have a mamod steam engine when I was young. It was great fun and ran on methylated spirits and steam. I remember playing with it in my backyard.
I think I'll be sticking with my radio control car kits. 😉
It does bring back memories as I did once have a Mamod steam engine back in 1978.
I remember as a kid in the 80s those kits you built youreself they were already painted not air fix but similar .I had about 3 a Capri a Ferrari and a Sierra cosworth they were good fun to build.someone might remember the name of them
