The super six was a tournament and had top fighters at that division which he won. He wasn't even favored to win. He was a young pup fighting Mikkel Kessler favored to win with only loss against Calzaghe. Fought Carl Froch a potential hall of famer he was a champion after losing to Ward. Chad Dawson after win against Bernard Hopkins was recognized at best at 75 at the time. Of course Kovalev a future hall of famer

He lost 2 fights to ward and loss to Aledier Alvarez and Canelo Alvarez by ko. He hasn’t been a top fighter ever since. Kovalev is good but not great.
