It's been about a month since my last acrylic markers video, so I'm very happy to use it again in today's video. Arrtx was kind enough to send me an extra set of their 60A Acrylic Marker, so I'll be using both the 60A and 60B sets for today's video. The quality of the acrylic marker set is great as always and I'm enjoying using them more and more, so I drew 2 illustrations in this video, lol... It's great to try new materials, but I think it's hard to replace the feeling of using a paintbrush. But I think I'll actually be using these markers more 😊

Wow. It's the first time I've seen acrylic markers used on faces. Was beginning to think they are only suited for lettering and geometric patterns, since you can't layer or shade with them. You proved me wrong. Such beautiful drawings! ❤

I think that the Arrtx markers look quite amazing with the way that they work! The illustrations look very nice and the markers seem to blend quite well! There are no visible streaks or uneven color patches. While I feel that normally layering with acrylic markers is quite a task in its own especially with the many other brands available.. the Arrtx markers with its quality and the tip of the marker in brush style helps in creating a very natural and smooth looking effect making layering very fun and enjoyable for artists.
Acrylics go very well on many surfaces and acrylic markers are very popular too with many artists seemingly preferring it given the many techniques that can be done and applied to on a variety of surfaces! I'm sure my mom would love these Arrtx acrylic markers and would create some wonderful artworks with her creativity and with the vibrant and beautifully pigmented colors that these acrylic markers give! I definitely love these Arrtx Acrylic Markers and I'm sure my mom would love them too!

What I really love about these markers is how they become the perfect means for artists that are good with using markers but they also want to experiment with a new medium like acrylic paint!!! How much is the set of these markers?
Do you use a reference for your subjects or do you just freestyle?
Sometimes I use reference, sometimes I get an idea and I'll draw it. This is usually not fixed. 😊
I thought these were digital because of how smooth and clean both drawings looked. Beautiful characters! I love the matte look the markers give leaving no streaks.

I think the paint quality is the same, it's just that Arrtx nibs are not as diverse as POSCA

So, did you plan the colors out ahead of time or did you just wing it? If it were me using these markers, I'd screw up too much and then have to toss it. Lol.
Hey there, I wanted to ask what the difference between those two sets and the set with the 64 colors of Acrylic Markers from this brand are? It kind of confuses me, that the set with 4 more colors is cheaper, than these two sets. Is the brush different? It has two, which should be even better though, am I mistaken? Can someone explain?
I haven't tried the 64 color set yet so I can't comment on this set. But I have the 32 color dual nib set with a similar design, and I think the colors of this set are not as opaque as the 60A and 60B sets. Hope this helpful to you!

I have a few set of cheaper acrylic markers that i really like that im more likely to use over the more expensive arrtx ones lol😝😝
Can we also do painting with gouache or other medium on this sketch book???
I've actually tried sketchbook with alcohol markers and found it really good, but I haven't tried it with gouache so can't comment yet. For watercolors I don't think it's suitable, because the paper isn't thick enough and it can warp. Hope this helpful!

Which set has the best portrait markers, please?
There are about 20 different colors in 2 sets. With set 60A, there will be neon and metallic tones. I think the 60B set is more suitable for portraits if you don't want the colors to be too bright like neon..
Great artwork. On Amazon it says they are waterproof and can be used on all surfaces. Have you tested this? I'm really curious.
Thank you so much 😊🌼 That's absolutely true, I've tried it. It's like acrylic paint, dries very quickly, can't be repaired with water, and doesn't bleed onto the back of the paper. You can use it on glass, wood, fabric...

It's really the first time I've seen a video of you, and I'm quite impressed. The detail and the cleanliness that you draw is super beautiful and I love it. The way you mixed the marker with the brush, gives it a watercolor-like effect and at the same time realistic that is simply wonderful, really your talent is incredible. My thoughts about those markers are that they are wonderful. The fact that they can be combined so well, the range of colors they have, the tip that for me is something super important is a brush and for me it is the most comfortable tip. Anyway, I know other brands of acrylic markers, but I really think that has been my favorite so far 🩷 my ig nickname is: x.sunnygirl.x

The brushs' tip are perfect for coloring and calligraphy. The box' pretty and its nice of them to add label stickerss. Your coloring is pretty as well

@mononahstone ,i just bought 4 basic colours acrylic paint markers from a more expensive brand. They have a bigger tip. I think these from Arrtx will be easy to work with. And they have very nice colours. Beautiful work!! You make it seem very easy to work with.

Hi Meeco! I like both the illustrations! A very good color selection and also the sketches! The Arrtx acrylic markers look quite good as you were blending it in! Nice flow and also seem very pigmented which I feel would also be great for outline work on illustrations. I also like the color range that comes with the sets; both the sets are unique! 60A comes with the neon and metallic colors which is really a nice addition when doing lettering or just illustrations with glittery or neon accents! I'm sure it'll help pop off the art more! I also like how 60B is dedicated to Anime because I feel that it has a really good color scheme for skin tones!! The acrylic markers look good in terms of grip with it's round pen style shape and I'm sure it'll be very comfortable holding it whilst doing the shading & coloring! 💕💕
