I only discovered her last week while reminiscing about my deceased family them playing Louie Prima on and old Victrola in the 60's Louie and Keely were great!
It sounded at first like Kid Rock effed up the song, but he really got it back on track. They came in 4 bars late & the band kept going... should have been vamping. Regardless, anyone who says both culo and cucuzza in the same song gets my respect! Ciao!
A travesty. He just shows how brilliant Louis Prima was and how great was Keely. She looked after him there, very kind but she shouldn’t have to put up with rubbish like him.
I wonder why she never changed her hair style? Great voice, but I didn't care for the deadpan shtick on stage. To me, it ruined the exuberance that Louis had. People thought it was genius, but I didn't.
Did the audience have any idea of the gift they had received? What a moment.
Can't believe the strength in her voice!
Oh my goodness, what a voice she had!
R.I.P Keeley Smith what a legendary singer the likes of we will never see again a music 🎼🎶📻 ICON sadly missed from a Teddy Boy 🎶🎼📻🎶

Since this was in 2008 Keely Smith had to be 79 or 80. Amazing voice still.
80
And kid Rock is less than half of that with a fraction of vocal prowess as she still had.
She is absolutely fabulous love love love her great voice complete individual
Keeled never lost her touch…

She was amaaaaaaazzzzzzing! Kid Rock was out of his element, but Keely kept her stage presence like a true professional and saved the gig!
I absolutely love that kid rock honored such a fabulous lady with her iconic song thank you sir
Shes the real deal he had no fucking idea what he was doing
Kid Rock has such class. Thank you RIP Keely Smith. Thank you for the great Sax Mr Kotz.
Classy, talented lady paired with punk who can't remember his lines.
She still sounded great.
Wonderful!
Wow 😳. Brilliant.

My favorite song she sang it for me😍
Incredible. Who's the guy with the hat though?
My brother went to high school with her younger brother, they were BFF’s in the 50’s ... Norfolk, Va
IDK about that...Keely has a great voice but KR should have learned the damn song or something.
She said in an interview "Kid Rock didn't have a clue..."
That's an understatement. And yet she was gracious throughout (on stage..)@@BackToTheBlues
Kelly Smith? ffs ...... at least get the real stars name correct
I thought Kid Rock nailed it as Louis Prima.
wow! What a voice Keely had and Kid Rock can literally do anything.
It would have been better if Kid Rock had bothered to learn the song and could actually sing.
She brought it. He barely even bothered - lame, and just a bit disrespectful
