Kai said his mother cried having watched Film 2 and said that it was his whole life story. Kai said that his Film 1 reflects the story he came as an artist. @@nenarmf yeah, to me the first episode is about school life, then finding out who you are, then being a celebrity who has a lot of fun but also is constantly chased and watched, and the end to me is about performing on stage (which is tiring as hell) but coming back to who you really are after it, to your solitude and usual train of thought. It's a masterpiece, but as any art it's open to so many interpretations, sometimes even bigger and deeper than the artist wanted to convey.
@@tatyanicktheone7387 A much over looked fact about Kai is that he is actually quite intellectual. He comes across as so sweet and maybe a little dipsy, but you get those flashes of intellect that shine through. He reads people and situations well also, he's no Baekhyun in that, but he certainly has great empathy and is a deep thinker.
@@DewdewDC i disagree and would say he's a lot more emotionally intelligent that baekhyun. not even saying that baekhyun isn't because he is, but jongin picks up on emotions and things people aren't saying and when they're uncomfortable a lot quicker and more consistently than the rest of the group does. it's why he gets teased for being a crybaby. he's just very empathetic. and is also why he has always been the first to call out unkind words or behavior e.g. towards that fan about her weight or when people were laughing at yixing reading korean etc etc
@Dewdew dc I noticed that, too. He's very observant and would speak his mind but in a very polite manner. He never comes off as arrogant. A very respectful and really well-mannered guy. His sense of humor is a bonus point. He always cracks me up, he's so entertaining to watch. I love him.
If Kai participates to some festivals like he did last year...It will be big!i mean Bomba is soo good for this kind of event!
Film: Kai is like his identity
Kai’s 1st film is hard. Don’t know if anyone noticed, the female formation was the shape of an eye 👁 on Nothing On Me. That’s Kai’s eye which means “open to” the possibility of everything are endless. Rover means wonderer. Bomba is a night Brazilian carnival festival. Kai is experimenting with his music (distortion) and vocals. Something new and different that others are not feeling. Slidin is sexy. I like Sinner, it has a slow chill vibe. Every song differs from one another. Thanks for the exciting reaction.🌹
'The legendary Kai' ❤ He's definitely a young legend being looked up to by many idols and idol wannabees. He earned the respect of so many people because of his hard work and dedication to his craft. He can dance to all genres and with such intricacies in his choreos he always delivered effortlessly. Such an inspiration and truly adorable guy. I love you, Kai.
Pure art. Kai doesn't just dance to music; he is interpreting his life through dance and it makes you want to cry for him even as you are thanking him for giving this to us and working so hard. He also leaves so much for you to find your own story and use your own creativity while being inspired by his. The more you watch him and listen to him, the more you realise what a creative genius he is. SM knew it from the start. His name may not appear much in credits, but if you have been following him over the years, you realise just how many times his input is mentioned and appreciated by all around him. We have watched him grow in skill and confidence and yet we know there is more to come. He is a man who moves forward.

I loved film kai too, but the kai film dance practice is great, each project song is longer and dances are more detailed.🥰

Definitely revisit with lyrics! I wasn’t super impressed sonically until I understood what he was saying and then it changed for me. Say you love me is my least fav but you and I are of the same mind on trap. I was waiting for this to drop. I was so excited to see your response to it and I have to say my cheeks are hurting from smiling so much! ❤

Sonically I prefer Mmmh, but then again that's one of goated solo albums. But Sinner omfg has me in a chokehold. This film as top tier as we've come to expect from kai. I agree that he should commit to a visual album, but I'm happy with what he gave us! Thanks as usual for your reaction ❤
All the songs on this album Kai are so wonderful / listening to this while driving down the highway makes my driving experience so enjoyable // like you are on another planet. He always makes me so happy. Thanks Emilie and Micah. I bought the album originally just to listen to all the songs completely and I am so glad I did. Waiting to get my Rover album.

Great reaction and insights, thanks to both of you for sharing your thoughts! I love Kai's films because it feels like I see more of him in those than just in the videos (all of them which are still nice, of course). Maybe he has more creative input in these kinds of projects? My favourite parts of his first film was 'Nothing On Me' and in this new one it's 'Sinner'.
he has creative input in all of it. he's explained how the rover mv is like his life with the ballet references and changing identities and then the film is an extension of that. i just think the song distracts a bit and so it's easy to miss the details whereas the films make it a bit easier.
@@zkdltube0114 After writing this comment, I found out that 'Rover' is a cover of a Bulgarian singer, and that made it click for me. It's a good song and I actually prefer Kai's version, but somehow I picked up on the fact that it wasn't a song written for or about Kai. I did pick up on the ballet references in the Rover MV however. I'm sure that for his long-term fans it's easier to pick up on the clues in the MV, but as a recent fan I find the films more useful.

This could have been a triple play! Check out the Rover FILM dance practice on the SMP Floor channel. Phenomenal. Though I think they left out Black Mirror. I can see it being hard to figure out how to make it work. Anyway, you get a much clearer picture of the choreo.

I liked the album for the most part, loved the Film, and am totally obsessed with the Bomba choreo lol
Bomba was so good but I can't sing it while walking in the mall or in any other public places. Because here in the Philippines if you say Bomba it means bomb, so the authorities will have you on hold and will investigate you right away🤣.

I never usually write comments, I'm more of a silent watcher of the channel but this is a song that was heavily overlooked [and because this solo debut was ruined by cube in my opinion but we already know they're shit lmao] and the song in question is kino - pose, he's from pentagon and you reacted to them previously but my god, that man was SO involved in everything that had to do with it and I'm always so proud of him but man, he really got fucked over and not many people even know of this song tbh

Say you love me also my least fav i wouldnt listen to it alone but listening to the album whole its ok cus the chorus catchy the rap melody line could be better or its also just cus i dont vibe w trap :))))) this time we got the visual after so its a different experience for sure i came to like black mirror a bit more at first it was not on my list along w say you love me and i came to love sinner even more bcus that part of the song is just how i imagine something grand and majestic w the lighting and intense choreo. Such a good way to end an album
