You need to get it by rilling it in slower and kinda pulling it back at the same time so it would look injured and it i would be a easy target for the fish

Those "cheap" swim baits do well for me. I use them all the time. Sometimes it just depends on the setting and water, or even the operator. Also, they had other, more natural colors of the soft swimbait, so they could have "matched" if they wanted to. Don't knock it when you don't start with an even playing field.

Get some real cheap mono vs braid or fluro. Just a suggestion.
That isn't a fair comparison. braid will win hands down every time versus mono. Great suggestion, but its got to mono y mono (hehe), fluro vs. fluro, or braid vs braid.
Can’t really compare braided line to mono line. Braided line doesn’t stretch and also rarely snaps. Mono line snaps very easy but also can stretch so doesn’t snap 100% of the time.
I remember being that excited when I caught my first bass too.

I get that excited every time I catch my first fish of the day. If you're not getting excited, you're doing something wrong. Fishing is FUN!

Northland Mimic Minnows are awesome! They may be cheap, but they work really well. The 3/4oz Rainbow trout and the Bluegill are my favorites.

I love videos like this, because if they both perform well, even if the expensive is better, unless it's 100x better, its better to have more of the cheaper ones, at least for me since i tend to lose hooks and lures like nobody's business. Also, I could buy 10 or 20 different kinds of lure and be set for year round fishing instead of having one (admitedly versatile) lure.

STORM lures are the best cheap lures I have ever used. The eyes don't fall out and the plastics last 3x longer than any other cheaper brand. I'd say that they are as good as expensive baits in my opinion.

@BobTheBuilder, What usually kills my Storm sunfish is bluegill nipping the tails off. If the tail survives, I get 1000's of casts and dozens of bass out of each bait.

I've caught a ton of nice bass on a $1 blue and white spinner from wal mart bulk box.
The nice thing about those is that you can swap the skirt and/or blades and have a nice custom spinner for like $3. Just wish they made them in more than one size.
