- Arcade1up Killer Instinct | Speaker Upgrade- We decided to upgrade our speakers on our A1up Killer Instinct cab! We have the monitor speakers in the cab initially but it was rattling too much. Having them on top of the cab gave it more of a clear robust sound.
We used four 12lb command strips to hold the speakers in place. The sub is at the bottom of the cab. We didn't have the Logic Tech speakers turned up all the way and it still got very loud! It definitely gives it more of an arcade feel on the cab.

@@Bluemortal001Lol that’s just mashing. Ultras are done by inputting the ultra input (different motion for each character) during a combo.

I only got to experience killer instinct in the arcade once going to LA and dude you can hear that CCCCCC COMBO BREAKER across the damn building. It was so loud. Devs were a genius
Nice! Yeah I remember seeing and hearing it in the arcade when it first came out and was blown away by it. I couldn't play it for months since there were crowds of people watching lol
An Ultra that knocks the opponent off the building is my favorite way to win. 👍

Nice! Yeah this was the loudest game in the arcades when it first came out for sure. I remember hearing it but could never get to play because the crowd was big. It was months before I actually got a chance to play lol

I've done this upgrade to my Mortal Kombat cabinet also. I'd like to encourage you to take it a step further and add an amplifier. You'd be able to tweak the trebble which will further enhance the audio quality

Hahaha. You can hear the cab vibrate immediately from the speakers. I’ll take the standard because they work fine and don’t cost me extra.
It does vibrate some but not as much as when we had the monitor speakers in the cab. To each their own though

Best game of all time KI1 it’s so sad that all the rest that came after is trash they should have kept the formula it’s sad 😢
KI1 is goated KI2 is pretty good but definitely a downgrade from KI and everything after that is mid or worse in our opinion. But we haven't played all of the new seasons of the Definitive edition of KI.
@@HackTheGamer after trying ki2 I was disappointed it did feel like a downgrade & I lost interest in all the rest because nothing left like the first so I just kept playing the first & it’s crowned my favorite game of all time i just wish I could have access to it once again I haven’t played in years since my Super Nintendo got water damage after a hurricane years ago
I agree KI3 trash is horrendous , but KI2 imo is better then KI1

It's pretty much plug and play using the stock A1up port. Here's our video on it czcams.com/video/s_sW_sYRV40/video.html I believe some people were able to remove stock speakers and place new speakers in their place if you don't want to stick them on top with command strips. Thanks for watching!

jaja porque hay unos jugadores que exageran al presionar un botón no sé si el botón no te va a repartir más golpes de los qué ya tiene programados tomen eso cuenta no gasten sus energías de oquis si eres un jugador pro ya debés de saberlo o me equivoco.
You don't have to mash the buttons to pull the moves or combos off I just have a bad habit of doing so lol

Where did u place the speakers??
We mounted the monitor speakers on top of the cab and sub inside of it at the bottom. We had the monitor speakers inside the cab too at first but it rattled too much and sounded muffled. Thanks for checking out the video!
@Hack The Gamer thanks for the info. Gonna try and do this weekend. I really wanna switch out buttons and joysticks but it seems difficult. Don't wanna screw up a $700 cab. Thanks for replying.
No problem! Yeah I believe there are tutorials on how to change out the buttons and joysticks on these cabs online but it can be tricky and time consuming. We thought about going that route but decided to stick with the stock buttons and joysticks. The speaker upgrade is fairly simple and doesn't take much to do. cant adjust the bass on these.
Right, there's no bass adjustment on this system or speaker upgrade. They still sound great though in our opinion. You would need a preamp to control bass and treble for this. We use one on our racing cab and it sounds pretty good even though the speakers aren't as good as quality as these ones.
