    I had a similar experience. Super sick, had to go a couple times over a couple weeks, they loaded me up with drugs...entire thing was $40. Came back to the U.S. still a little sick, 1 visit to the doctor for some follow up, and no drugs, $180 with insurance. I love Korean medicine.

      Yeah, that actually must be kind of a pain, huh!! Lol. I guess we all feel like we know you and tend to be too nosey at times!! 😬But, please know it's genuine concern. I had a horrible bout of Bronchitis and it was awful. That's all I kept thinking about watching your videos & wishing I could send you some cough medicine!!! 😂

      If you lose your job, you just go to the National Health Insurance Service and tell them that you lost your job. They will then recalculate and present you with a monthly bill (less than what you pay if you had a job)

    I love That syrup.. it's really helpful for your dry or sour throat. Whenever I saw a doctor for similar symptoms like you, it was always prescribed and got be okay. In Korea, to see a doctor isn't a big deal in terms of money and any other cost. Whenever you feel bad, go see a doctor. Of course you can sea a doctor who can be fluent in English specially in big city like Seoul. Take care~

    The breathing thing was probably albuterol, it opens your lungs to help to help relive congestion. It's fast acting but doesn't last long. It's usually folowed by a prescription for it in a liquid or pill form, slow acting but last longer. Feel better soon.

  • @kevingineman3745

    I think you been to wrong place. the place was an orthopedics clinic. you should go to ENT clinic(이비인후과). They thought you're injured, so they took X-ray to find out where is broken. Usually, specialized clinics don't have equipment for other symtoms, so going to the right clinic is important. and if you have just cold, you can go to pharmacist. In my experience, their medicine works better than clinic medicine. and it's also cheaper than going to clinic since they call you multiple time. Here's some symtoms in Korean: 기침=cough, 재채기=sneeze, 콧물=runny nose, 인후통=soar throat, 두통=head ache, 발열=fever, 오한=shiver.

      +Jojo Jo you should check the pollution index daily because it changes

    • @meeep6142
      @meeep6142 Před 7 lety

      Jojo Jo I would suggest you get like a pack of disposable face masks! They sell them at drug stores or stores that sell medicine (약국) in Korea. Disposable masks are daily thin and easy to breathe in. Download the app "air visual" if you're concerned about the air pollution and yellow dust. Yellow dust is really bad in Korea right now and even if you think it's okay to go out with a mask, I would suggest you have one on you always since the air pollution fluctuates everyday. Better safe than sorry :) yellow dust is really bad for your skin so masks help protect your skin as well.
