Hi lance looking forward to my trip, it would be nice if you did a video detailing "a first time in bansko" so showing all the basics of what you need to do and vidoing the process (where to buy thr ski passes equipment thr queuing ect) thanks

Alan, that's a terrific idea. We have so many people booking on www.banskoblog.com for the first time and often they are total beginners -- which is great. I'll mat try and do this by breaking the process into several parts, buying a lift pass, ski / snowboard fitting, lessons, the apres ski and eating out. (and possibly spa and other activity options)

UPD weather was awful
Been in bansko between 29-3rd january, the 10th slope was horrible, full of ice after 12-1o'clock. But on bunderitza was perfect snow.

Hello Bansko Blog I am planning to come to Bansko on January 19th to stay a week, do you know if this is a period where there will be many people on the track, also what time the gondola opens and if you have any tip on how to avoid gondola queue which is also the only thing i don't like in beautiful Bansko
this is the quietest time in January -- getting busier on 24th -- 25th and 26th in World cup -- but that is still ok. Read tips to avoid Q in the test attached to the live streaming Q cam on this channel.

Im going to be in bansko for abaut 5 hours
One of the better videos from you Lance.. could see the pistes.. could hear you speak properly as well. Would appreciate if you can also film at the direction you are going more rather than just at your face / backwards as this will give a better indication of the conditions and pistes.. also it makes for a nicer view overall. Ive been staying for the last 10 days very close to Bansko but I haven't been to the pistes yet due to poor conditions and too many people...
